No trouble to say you have winter in northern Manitoba. Great way for all of us to start our weekend. Thanks for sharing this video and all the others. We truly enjoy them
Norm, Hey, the sunrise colors are amazing...no man on earth could create those colors...Your videos show me an area I may never see...Thank you for being my Huckleberry and sharing your adventures...Maine is getting clobbered again with a big nor'easter coming in around midnight...The new area should help you increase the fur totals...Cheers from Maine.
Love your trapping videos. The country up there is beautiful. I saw a marten for my first time here in Grey County Ontario, what a handsome looking creature.
As expected Norm👍👍 That extension you put on the sleigh is slick. Nothing boring about the videos, just happy you are feeling better. Take care and safe travels
Thanks Norm, as usual I loved it...I never trapped in my life and at 67 years it won't happen, but I am here for the ride, the cabins, the nature, the awesome scenery, your trapping and of course Your company, and btw I'm a northeastern Ontario lifelong resident.
Great post Norm .... can't believe how deep you need to slug through the snow to set up some boxes. My old knees are hurting just watching that. Enjoy each and every one of your posts.
One thing for sure, I have never found any of your videos boring! This season just shows the up and down side of trapping. You hung in there instead of giving up and have salvaged what you could under the circumstances! I am glad your feeling much better and as always enjoying hanging out with you! Take care till the next one and thanks for sharing your experience.
Those whisky jacks are tough it don't seem to matter what the temperature is they are out-in about, the new trail is deceiving Norm, it looks very thick until your in it, then it thin's out alittle, nice big marten to top off a great reconnaissance mission to the new trail lol the scenery is awesome thanks the ride along
Never think people who follow your videos are bored………peaceful to me, informative to see your trapping life out there…… like I have said before, would love to be out there to see it all……. maybe someday Norm !!, good to see that big martin you got…………take care my friend !… dave
norm i never miss a vid in years. its your choice of living and adventure i like.but when your not feeling good that not fun your pulling trough i think. PS and the dancing of the northen light your the best at it thanks for the vids
Another great show Norm alot of work filming. Fire kill spruce is the best fire wood in the north country. That north line loop looks like a real hot spot for fur. Hope you fill all your traps.
I missed your co start fast Freddie, thanks norm for sharing the awesome country you have up there. Keep plugging away and those traps will have fur. Your looking like you have gotten most of your strength back. Can't wait to see another show- Rick
Love to see new country and very glad you take the time and effort to show what you are proud of Norm. Just watching the Briar tonight and your Video popped up. Nice way to start the weekend. Be safe out there.
Really enjoyed the video Norm. That north line looks like it is going to be fun. Beautiful country up there. I love the catches but really just enjoy seeing the landscape up there and what all you have going on at the cabin. If trapping season was over for you I’d still be hanging around just to watch you scout out the countryside and hang out at the cabin. Last couple years here have been nothing but rain and mud. And mud just is NO FUN. 😂 we just can’t seem to get a real winter anymore here in NE Indiana. Looking forward to the next video!
Hi Norm, from Alaska, I enjoy watching your videos whether you are hauling in lots of fur or breaking new trail and cutting wood. That's trapping in the real sense not just a video of catches. Your care in setting up shots and different aspects of your trapping days are fine for me and I am happy for you when a marten gives itself to you. Does it seem like there are not as many fox on the line this year? No matter what, the quality of your content and the excellence in your photography keep me coming back looking for a new videos to be posted. Best of luck and God bless you from Arctic Circle Dave.
Not boring at all Norm. A big part of Trapping is breaking out new line and checking for animal activity in different areas. Always enjoy your show ! Thanks for sharing Brother.
Damn Norm, you have a great old school percolator and you just used it to heat water and added INSTANT COFFEE. I can't find the words to describe my despair
I can’t drink regular coffee. I’m allergic to it. Decaf only but that even affects me if I have to much. I miss the days when I use to be able to use it with regular coffee.
Norm I watch cause you post. Your vids are compelling to watch. I think many of us would love to join you at least in spirit, the legs and other parts won't stand it anymore. You've said in the past you make the videos for the elders who can't do it anymore. In any case please keep doing the videos, we love them!
Norm, your channel is never boring!!! i really enjoy the beautiful northern country that you share, sure we like to see you catch critters too, but its not the only reason we watch!! keep up the great work & be safe out there!! BTW the northern lights are a added bonus for me!!
Great video again, Norm. I love the scenery and the running narrative. Your videos are so relaxing. I can feel my blood pressure going down as I view them.
No need to thank us we should be thanking you for all the time you take to do the videos. Every video you do is waited for. It's all a new adventure each and every time. Plus the scenery is just fabulous.
Always have a great time watching your videos. Thanks for taking us along. That North line looks like you have a lot of activity over there. Best of luck on the new line.
Another beautifully shot video Norm - I find your videos relaxing and interesting not boring to me. I’m happy that you’re feeling better and energetic once again…that’s most important. Thanks again for the ride along, cheers
Hey Norm, remember Chuck porter had those metal corner brackets on his side rails for extra support? If you don't have that handy than maybe some metal flashing might help if thats more readily available. Going to attempt the same rails on my sled soon.
Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing Norm....never boring, it very interesting watching you build traps, cook, gather firewood or just talk.... Peace be with you my friend
I love watching your videos I in joyed watching it’s not boring to me thankyou for sharing your videos that was a huge Martin do you hurt fox 🦊 here from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
Norm you have some good looking bush there. Too bad you don’t have cats and wolverine. If you miss dumping a box of bait the bears would have a good game of Jenga. Brother most of us will watch as long as you are making videos
Fabulous video. You really got to know your stuff and be prepared for the uneventful, in that country. For me it is both entertaining and a learning experience. Thanks for the journey.

The fellow that came up to help you cut a line one winter. I think his name was Norm or Dave. I’m not sure whether your name is one of those that I just mentioned. But is there any hint that this year we will get to see him again helping you cut the line that you just came home from. I hope so. Stay safe. God bless. ✌️🇨🇦
