What if for hiv therapy they use crispr to edit the current hiv infection’s genetic code to reduce the numbers of errors hiv makes while replicating, thus possibly being able to stop the hiv from getting around the drugs forever

What is the meaning of pre-HAART and HAART era?
What is the era? When we start to use ART and when we start to use ART?
Pre-HAART was when they used a single drug. Era means a "period of time". As for the rest Google is your friend.

Irrespective of viral load and cd4count you should start treatment.(bhiva guidelines)

I think WHO recommends art right after diagnosis now.
+Dp You are correct. Based on recent INSIGHT START study, it is now recommended to start HAART at any CD4+ count.
The process is always changing so talk to your doctor. WHO is not your doctor get a real doctor and listen to their advice and follow it.
