Nothing like the sound of a friction machine in the morning. I ran many 118s. Good machines to operate. My first seat was a Bay City with a D315 and pony motor. Sad to see all the great iron disappearing. That 518 is a survivor for sure.
@@bigboreracing356 I was a Crain operator in the IBEW local 126. But my CCO is expired. Too many birthdays unfortunately. Stay safe and never take shortcuts,
@tomt9543 I got my point across didn't I? That's what happens when you talk into the phone and don't type it. I just speak into the phone and how it prints. Well, I got my point across and if you wanna be so ridiculous, that's fine. I'm retired and. You're not ,so enjoy your day

Omg I learned how to become an operator with one of this at the steel shop yard. Loved it
Great video! Thanks!
I ran one of these recently at a shipyard in washington state. I enjoyed it very much.
I always disengaged the clutch and let the weight run through the gears.
Nice
How do they let someone with a 6th grader brain operate a piece of equipment like that?
You didn't check your fluid levels before starting the engine, shame on you
