I think it's interviews like this that make people realize how real this guy is. He is so real in interviews and It endears him to the public. Steve Martin is similar, but Martin Short is the funny but revered uncle everyone wants to have. Just a great guy. Funny. Sensible, good hearted and intelligent
I couldn't agree more! He is such a likeable person and I feel like that is because he is true to himself and his sense of humor. The best one out there in my opinion. :)
wow - i was searching TH-cam to find a clip of RIGHT ON, a talent show on CBC - Mr Short was in university studying between takes, and i was one of the 'guest' singers - january 1973 - could not find any videos from then, but found this interview with George....i am so happy that i was there in toronto, then, for a show that only lasted 3-4 months - his current strategy being, do a show for a bit, and move on....thank you martin for the memory!
