The now infamous Rapala Magnum XPlode! It comes in 170 and 130 sizes, LOTS of great colour options, thick through wired construction with a low tow point, it’s standard fit trebles and splits are top notch!

These Poppers have a good price point, good quality hooks and splitrings and are easy to use even in rougher conditions.

Great poppers! Cheap too, but disposable though, they easily crack after a good fight and fill up with water- which is perfectly fine at this price level!

On popper lure..use single hook on middle or back.. which get better results when a fish bite ?

I don’t think it makes a big difference. GTs can smash a popper with trebles and still don’t get hooked. I usually use a belly treble to help the popper “grip” the water and a single on the tail (both always barbless)
