I told him I was going to drive over to his apartment and take his passport away from him if he didn't get that crazy idea out of his head. If I were in your shoes , I would be very careful after posting such material online, people do have a tendancy of dissapearing in that part of the world after they decide to go against certain rogue elements. Rather brave of you, my advice get intouch with your embassy in Bangkok and brief them, because in this particular scam, some very important people are racking in millions of $$$ since its organised at a very high level, be safe brother 👍🙏

A great video and becoming more common these days, as an expat, working in Thailand. I see this almost daily on the local news. Unfortunately the problem runs very deep and unfortunately corruption from all mentioned countries still makes this to continue. The problem is obvious, but people outside of Burma get tremendous kick backs for aiding this kind of activity!
What a sad reality. I had a scam myself, in July last year, a love related, but it was coming from the U.S.A. I lost a considerable amount of money. Too long to explain, however, after watching this video, I have been thinking, if it was coming. from a similar situation, but from elsewhere. Your videos, are becoming more humanitarians, should I call them? I have been following you, since a while, so I have seen how, the videos are growing and how you structure them now, and I admire you, for what you do. Keep the good actions up, you are a great man.

I am from Myanmar. These Thai- Myanmar border scam cities are backed by Border guard force (BGF) of Myanmar. Saw Chit Thu is the leader of this group which is an ally of Myanmar Military and they are also part of Myanmar military. There are also scam cities located in Northen and southern Shan state of Myanmar. The northen scam city located in Laukai has been captured by China backed MNDAA forces and ceased to exist. But the southern scam city located in Tachileik is still operational since it is under Myanmar Military control. There are also scam hubs located in Yangon and Mandalay but these are smaller compare to these scam cities.
I forget to add that corrupt thai police and politicians are also involved in these scam business. Even some politicians from thailand are shareholder and that's why the scammers use Thailand as a cover to get their victims.

Human trafficing is huge problem and number 1 problem now for humans - There are huge pedo-rings operating from Thailand to Amsterdam (center of human trafficing in Europe). Sex slaves/ human trafficing/snuff films are biggest business in the world now and open secret. This rabbit hole is very deep.
Who owns the buildings, which companies rent the offices? What external companies are they connected to? Where does the money flow from these companies? We might be surprised by the answers and understand why these criminals are not being held accountable.
Gabi, while travelling in Laos and Northern Thailand I witnessed Burmese women being treated horribly by hotel housekeeping management in an upscale establishment. I am sure they are being paid less than locals and not respected. We also witnessed very young Burmese girls in Luang Prabang and the Burmese girls in Massage places (in the tourist unesco zone) and the whole scene was weird what we saw. We suspect what everyone suspects and that they were being trafficked. It's incredibly horrific that people are capable of abusing another.

A large number of young Sri Lankan men and women are trapped in the Oya area of Myanmar. The government is currently holding talks with the Myanmar government to rescue them, but it has failed. A large number of young people in our country are suffering and unable to return to their homeland.

on first glance its chinese mafia but honestly the recent high-profile case where a chinese celebrity was trafficked to myanmar and he was able to be found in less than a week by a chinese business organisation, you would suspect that the people involved are much more scary lol chinese gov itself is trying its best to stop travellers at the customs when they are going to countries such as thailand e.g. young travellers often get their guardians called up to make sure their families know that they are going to said country or some high-risk individuals are just denied exit at the customs.. but then again there's not much they can do i.e. going to myanmar to stop these syndicates because of how they advocate for not meddling in other countries' business
The Thai government could shut this down in five minutes if they wanted to. But obviously there is too much money changing hands. And the Karen used to be the “good” guys, that scrappy guerrilla army fighting for their independence against the corrupt, evil, Burmese regime. Now they profit off of slave labor. even if they hold your passports you can't go to the embassy ? you can still leave that place without passport what happends when your lose a passport in a foreign country then you can always ask for a urgent passport or o piece of paper that you can fly back to your country
