That was so beautifully presented. Thank you. My grandparents (Mitchell) were lighthouse keepers of Tasman Island. Can’t remember the dates, but I’m 70. I cried. Thanks guys. Deb Eames (née Mitchell).
I've just come back from my three capes trek and enjoyed reliving it through your video. Beautifully captured - so far the best video on the three capes! Makes want to do it all again :)
The best 3 Capes video I've found. Myself and my wife are in the planning stages now. Could I ask what time of year did you guys go? We love winter hiking but South Australian winters are a bit different from Tassie winters😂.
Enjoyed your video as we did the 3 Capes. Shame about the drone footage. They have become a pest in natural settings and clearly not allowed in Tassie National Parks.
Hey, great vid but do you know it's actually illegal to fly drones in Tasmanian national parks? Would hate for other people to get the same idea that they can bring noisy drones into such natural pristen environment. We need to instead encourage people to read the rules that protect the environment that we have the privilege to explore.
I completed the three capes yesterday (12 Nov 2022). From Munro Hut to the Blade is about 2.5 hours, but this largely depends on how quickly you are moving. Sunrise the day I left was 5.40AM.

By far the best video of Three Capes. Don’t think you could make a better video to share this experience with others
Great video. Very nice filming

Great video, can I ask how long it took from the hut to the blade, keen to be there for sunrise as well
