  • Ezzy Sails has been a leading force in windsurfing sail development and manufacturing for over 40 years.
Now we take our experience, as well as our extreme product quality and put it into wings. The Ezzy Flight wing grew out of extensive R&D done in the Canary Islands by José Fernandez (Flight Sails) and on Maui by David Ezzy (Ezzy Sails). Having such perfect testing venues has enabled José and David to develop a wing that not only performs beautifully, but is also strong and durable.
Production is done in our very own factory, located in Sri Lanka. This is the same factory we produce our windsurfing sails and that David Ezzy started over 30 years ago. Owning our own factory is a critical reason why we are able to achieve the degree of quality we need for wings.

We love ours and the locals are trying ours and making orders!! Excellent control, stability and low end power. Keep it up and thank you

I'm riding Ezzy on Oahu, David has done an amazing job with these. The new canopy material is unlike anything on other wings, great low end, excellent flagging, super fast on the upper end. With speed and acceleration, when compared to other wings I've ridden, it's like going from a medium aspect to high aspect foil.

Thank you, Ezzy windsurf sails have such a great reputation that I was very interested to see what an Ezzy wing would look like. There's a few folks at my local spot who have them and they are very happy with them. Definitely a front runner for the next time I need to buy a wing. Cheers!

My experience with the 4,0 and 5,5 is really great. Low end, windrange/sweetspot, speed and handling are great. Also durability is supreme. 4,0 is perfect. The 5,5 though is a bit heavy handed and the trailing edge flutters more (upwind) than expected. For the next iteration I would wish for some lighter and stiffer LE fabrics (not aluula but some alternative) and it would be great to have sup valves as well as an optional boom or at least a handle for one handed winging. I am totally happy without windows

Nice wing; it has that Ezzy look. I saw it first on the JD followcam and have been watching for it to come out. Congratulations.

What’s your view on having a clear window panel on the wing. Some manufacturers have a window but does this weaken the wing structure?

at this time, we found the window wasn't really practical on our design. David is always tinkering....so durability would be a big factor in the R&D.

    What is the canopy material?

we are using 50 g/m² woven polyester ripstop for the canopy. David is always tinkering with materials. He works very close with all of the suppliers. This is one of the real benefits of owning our own factory and having such a close relationship with the suppliers.
