This is a high resolution visual of the 1913 50th anniversary reunion at Gettysburg. 53,407 veterans showed up, 8,750 of them were confederates and was the largest Civil War reunion ever. Never before in world history had so many men advanced in years been assembled under under field conditions.
It would be the last trip for many of them to Gettysburg.
