So can we send you broken items for repair? At a cost, of course. I have a broken Web of Terror, it would prob cost a fortune to ship but luckily we are in a neighboring state! Actually drove through Phoenix in the spring to visit Mesa, could have dropped it off! Also have an inexpensive violin prop that still plays the music but the hand no longer moves to 'play' the instrument ☠️
Got interesting issue on tilt n hurl - replaced motor from grease short but intermittent teardrop lights issue strung (sign pumpkins) atop piece weird come on sometimes or flickers now it off voltage reads 2.3v-2.8v when works now at 2.0 seems issue has to be with component on board Re Check switch ok -rewired motor ok - somewhere on pcb is my guess like resistor or connector on light board? i have continuity on that string strange don’t think it’s a chip Everything works correctly except that led section wild part is if i probe end of light string w/ volt meter sometimes triggers it to light with full voltage 2.3v any thoughts ?
Last time I had a similar issue, it was caused by a bad LED, I ended up replacing them all on that strand. It could be a component on the board, examine the board for signs of overheating, usually a brownish discoloration, look around the resistors and transistors.
Looks like one of the simpler projects you’ve had to work on
