I don't understand why people want to make comments about what your posting, Peter, should or shouldn't be. They should realise it is just the male part so the female can practise her part. I think it is great. It is a good opportunity (and I haven't found any others) to practice the female part with just the male voice and no other female voice. Thank you
I'm writing the music for a concept album of a (hopefully) coming musical and need a soprano with recording gear to help me finish the songs. If you're interested in participating in this project, send me a mail to: eksell(at)outlook.com and include links to some recordings you've already made. If I find that your voice would fit the part I'll send you some tracks to record and further info about the story. This is NOT a paid job. It's more of a passion project for the ones of you who love musical theatre. I'm doing this in my spare time so I'm not getting paid either but if it gets off the ground I'll get you some compensation.
Can you or have you do(ne) the version with Michael Bublé? I hate hearing this song as a duet because the female just sounds like someone singing along in the background who won’t shut up so you can hear the male and I think Mike had the better voice (not dissing Robbie just prefer the other).
I'm not sure what you mean. This channel is just me singing songs I like. I offer "male part only versions" for people who , like me, enjoy singing duets. But it's only me singing on all the songs. I don't think I'll do the Michael Bublé version any time soon. It's very similar and just a bit slower.
My apologies, I was under the impression this was an edit that suppressed or squelched out Nicole Kidman so you could oniy hear Robbie Neville. I hate that this song is sung this way since it makes the girl sound like someone who wants to sing along in the car to a song on the radio while you’re trying to listen instead of sounding in perfect harmony like Peter & Gordon, Chad & Jeremy, Simon & Garfunkel, or the Everly Bros.
No worries! It's just that it's not possible to do what you thought I'd done. That's why I didn't quite get what you wanted. Anyway, I'm flattered you thought I was Robbie Williams.
Peter, I have written to you in the past and I would now like to comment on the posts from Michael Aarons. Your video here is the best I have found. I have just about (I think!) learned the melody for the female part. I used a separate video to do that. I have now set up a You Tube channel and would like your permission to use your video to upload to You Tube. If you say no, then fair enough, but whatever, I am more than happy with your version. Kind regards.
I had a ball singing this duet with you, thank you so much! Love from Denmark
I'm glad you did! Værsgo!
I love this version of the song! 😊
So do I! Thanks!
Una perfecta y magnifica interpretacion, tal como se merece esta bella y discutida melodia.
Guau! Muchas gracias!
Thanks so much! Love singing with you!
You're welcome! There's lots more duets here for you to try out.

Que bien! Me enorgullece oír esto.

Maybe it's because they don't read the title or info about the song. Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Oh, Thank you! I didn't know that.

Becuase I don't want to. There are other channels for that. I only make Male part duets. Sorry!
