i think sonnys right with the part that dante is just looking for reasons to hate him bcs he liked sonny at one time . i hope they get closer later on .
The truly chilling note in this unforgetable Scene is struck by Miss Nancy Lee Grahn as "Ms. Alexis Davis." Her own Daughter is in a Hospital Bed as the victim of a vicious beating (that atop all else She blames Herself for "deserving"!) and Her face registers dejection and sorrow not anger. It slowly sinks in on Her that legal channels won't be enough to rescue "Kristina" in the aftermath of such savagery.😔😭B.W.
@timmi8P ~ It's more complex that than. He's struggling mightily to maintina his equilibrium as he works to figure ouw how this is going to play in his life. Dante is WONDERFUL to Kristina. What a great guy!
I just want someone to correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it Olivia fault that Dante got shot in the first place because Sonny did not know that Dante was his son I don’t think Sonny would do anything to hurt his own family
Technically! So basically Dante came into town as an undercover cop but never knowing that Sonny was his father. He had known about Sonny from the old neighbourhood and knew that Sonny was responsible for the death of a good guy in the neighbourhood. Olivia always told Dante that she didn’t know who his father was because she didn’t want him around Sonny’s business or a target for his enemies. So when he came to town to infiltrate Somn/ organisation, she tried to get him taken off the case and tried to convince him to take himself off the case but unfortunately it never worked and Sonny didn’t find out who Dante was as far as being his son, until after he shot him for being an undercover cop.
@@FOlurin which Olivia should have seen coming. She knew Sonny was dangerous, which is why she kept Dante from him in the first place. Olivia could have just told the DA, or feds, whoever was running the show, that Dante is Sonny's son, she didn't have to tell either of them, they would seen it as a conflict of interest, and taking him off the case. Olivia's secret would have stayed a secret, and Dante would not have been shot by his own father.
@@dawnbosek1807 She did, remember? It was either the DA or Dante’s boss but they wouldn’t remove him. After Dante got shot, they said something about it in the precinct and Ronnie Domestico (sure that’s spelt wrong lol) was confused but was told that Olivia had come to them months before begging that Dante be removed from the case because Sonny was his father but they’d shut her down because neither Sonny or Dante knew that
@@FOlurin I don't recall her telling them that he was Sonny's son, only that he should be taking off the case. But even if that was so, since they didn't take Dante off the case, her next move should have been, to tell them both the truth. Or perhaps told Sonny, that way Sonny could have fired Dante before it got out of hand. I just think that Olivia had other options then saying nothing.
@brittlesnc21 I am not saying its ok for sonny to shoot anyone...my point is Olivia knows what Sonny does and she knows how he would have reacted...so if Sonny knew Dante was his son he would never have killed him undercover cop or not.
Excellent performance by Dante.
DAMN!! I want myself a Dante!
Another great between Dante And Sonny
dante is my hero!

@penguinqueen1415 Yeah, I agree. It'd be hard for them to ever get close. They're on opposite sides of the law, after all.

All i'm saying they better not screw up this character in a year like they did Johnny, Jaxs and Jason...
