For years the media (and LeBron) has forced the narrative that he ain't a scorer.
Top 6 all time leading scorers career field goal average:
    1. Kareem - 18.1FGA
    2. Karl Malone - 17.8FGA
    3. Kobe - 19.5FGA
    4. Jordan - 22.9FGA
    5. LeBron - 19.6FGA
    6. Wilt - 22.5FGA
And just to add some perspective. KD is consider a scorer while LeBron isn't and yet KD's carrer FGA is 18.8. But who cares about facts when they don't push your agenda?
    P.S.
I don't mean this to dis LeBron and nor do I hate him, I think he's an all time great and a once in a generation player. But facts are facts.

the Tyson Chandler pickup was huge for the Lakers, they're 4-1 or 5-1 since they've got him. it won't show in the boxscore heavily or in particular, but his vet presence and effort is definitely felt.

Growing up in Chicago during the Jordan era, I'd also add that the media pre championships would always blame Jordan stating how HE didn't get it done. It was his fault. He was selfish, doing too much. It was never about who he was playing with or who it was against... Now a days it's Bron did everything he could, he does it all, he has no help, he's the best. Ridiculous

Stone Love I believe he would have. Scottie hated jordan. So did Kerr. But they had a gd head coach that made them wrk together even tho they didn’t like each other. Lebron have female energy. He just need a strong male figure to keep him in check.

I agree that the Lakers (as of now) are the second best team in the west.
That being said, the west is kinda down (as of now) and the east (from top to bottom) is far more interesting than the west this year.
But yeah, congratulations to Lebron. To his credit, he makes that Lakers team into a playoff team. Without him, they are lucky to win 40 games.

Just because he's surpassed Wilt doesn't mean he measures up to Wilt as a scorer. Karl Malone is one of the top scorers of all time but nobody's going to pick him over Dirk or Charles Barkley in stats. Let me remind this Wilt Chamberlain still holds 68 of NBA records. Averaging 30.1 ppg , 22.9 rbs, 4.4 asst. LeBron is not coming close that anytime soon. Chamberlain's highest points per a season is 37.1 ppg while LeBron highest average is 33ppg. Chamberlain's highest career average is 70ppg if you include his predraft years as well as 50.4 ppg, still number one in 100 point game record, his stats have too many for me to list like Michael Jordan so no I don't think LeBron is any where a greater scorer than Wilt. As far as athleticism it still goes to Wilt, higher vertical could touch the tip of the backboard, faster, stronger benching 600 pounds easily, 275 pounds without supplements or advanced training, more skilled scorer one of the first centers to use the fadeaway, baby hookshots as well. Wilt also had played equal to better defensive centers of them have been at least 6ft 10 in going up to 7ft1 as opposing centers, LeBron has never faced an equal player in this generation to his position or size, Kevin Durant can play small forward but he's a power forward and he doesn't count as an equal. Wilt also has an unbroken record of averaging 40 points per a month streak, Kobe is right behind. Michael, Wilt, and Kobe are the only players in NBA history to score 600+ points in at least one season. Wilt Chamberlain also has more scoring titles , better finals record of 2-4 in playoffs vs LeBron's 3-6 in finals. LeBron may have more triple doubles and he might be 5th in all time but realise it took him 112 more games to reach that feat so it's more about longevity than it is him being a pure scorer. But let's also take a look at this Both LeBron and Wilt have Recorded Quadruple doubles only difference is that LeBron's previous Quadruple doubles was counted for 11 turnovers in last January. Wilt also has an unrecorded Quintuple double during the beginning of his career LeBron has not done that so no. Comparing LeBron to Wilt is an Unfair comparisons. Why because of the generation gaps Wilt played in an harder referee era anybody who knows how LeBron uses his size would get called in the 60's because the rules were set to stop big men from using their size from scoring.

Honestly i will be very surprised if Lebron surpasses Kareem on the all time scoring list, i think he will pass MJ but i think the elites will not allow him to get there, in Free Masonry the most sacred numbers are 3,7,9,11,13,33,39, i think there is a reason why Kareem who just happens to wear 33 which is the highest degree of free masonry sits at the top of the list, i don't think they will allow him to get there and MJ not reach it. Now it makes sense why Bill Russell
wore number 6 and has 13 championships.

I'm pretty sure if they fixed the game where he won a ring in 2016 finals that shouldn't be a problem for to surpass Kareem because he's not too far. By the way that is far from the truth if your going to make that a case you should bring up how the owner of the NBA and how referee officials did everything in their power to make the edge go to LeBron in the 2016 finals as well as not counting certain baskets for Kevin Durant in 2017 finals game 2 and 3. They had to rig those games for viewers attention.

Watch out for New Orleans, jrue holiday looking like a all defense maybe an allstar this yr. Randle and nico looking good.
Any team the analyst are talking about go the other way. They were all on the nuggets bandwagon they’ve lost 6 of 7. They were on Utah bandwagon, a Utah team lead by a 6’1 inefficient combo guard offensively. Really no one else for them can provide consistent offense.
Lonzo doesn’t have a place on this team. Maybe he could come off the bench and run the second unit. He is a good defensive player high iq and all that but it’s a headache watching him play offense. How can a guy 6’6 with decent athleticism not be able to finish at the rim?
