    Haven't changed my piercing in 5+ years and thanks to your video I'm glad you mentioned the 2 pops because I was scared when it only went halfway and hurt alot. Finally changed it from a regular corkscrew to a beautiful daisy nose bone 😌

    I just got my nose pierced about 2months and today I decided to change my piercing and I got a nose bone, and I almost panicked cause I didn’t know how to put it in, but your video really helped me out a lot and it went in really fast it didn’t even hurt, but I did hear the 2 pops. Thank you

    • @LittleMissBettyPage
      @LittleMissBettyPage 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @pretty Bea a piercing with appropriate jewellery should never hurt you. Personally I only ever wear a "spiral"/"corkscrew" stud. I would only ever reccomend that or a ring. Look for a spiral/corkscrew stud that has a smooth ball. Mine has a stone but it's within a smooth ball. Implant grade titanium is the best material followed by implant grade stainless steel. Don't just go with the cheapest option, you get what you pay for and it's your body and health after all.
      (I have a lot of piercings including Labret, medusa, two labrets on either side of my lip but they're right on my lip line unlike a normal labret. Also have my nose, tongue, nipple and a few others that you can't see lol I used to have my navel pierced too. Feel free to ask me any questions!)

    • @LittleMissBettyPage
      @LittleMissBettyPage 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Pretty Bea I forgot to add that if you switch to a muslin cloth to wash your face with there are no loopy bits to catch your piercing like a normal flannel face cloth. It also has the benefit of being really good for smoothing your face. I get mine in a pack of 10 from Ebay and costs usually around £2.50-£3 I wish I'd have learned that trick earlier as I'd lost count of how many times that i caught my piercing on a regular flannel before switching to the muslin cloth flannel

    I bought an 18 g nose bone piercing and everyone is saying it hurts but when I put mine in it didn’t hurt at all and it’s easy to come out, but like I got the thickest gauge and I think I was pierced with a 20 so either my hole is big or the piercings are skinny idkk confused. ima just stick to corkscrews

    • @Boss_etc853
      @Boss_etc853 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      a 20 gauge is usually the size of a average nose bone a 20 is actually tiny asf. a 18 would be larger, if you were pierced with a 20 your hole wouldn’t be big compared to a 18

    Hi Christina
    I havnt tried the nose bone yet I havnt even seen 1 just in pics so pliz ignore the ignorance in my question. I am still wearing the nose cork screw (what names, cork screw nose bone lol) n e way how long is the post/bone? if you accidently hit your nose won't it hurt the inside if your nose?
    To u is it more confy than the cork screw?

    • @ThePiercingOutlet
      @ThePiercingOutlet  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hello!
      As far as the bone hitting your nose and the bone hurting.. when your first get it pierce and have a bone it is uncomfortable pushing it in, taking it out, and if you accidentally pull on it. If your nose has been pierced for awhile and you have a bone, it doesn't hurt when i hit it or pull on it but because it has that little ball I can feel it start to come out which I like with the bone because it gives me a chance to catch that it's coming out but at this point I've had a bone for 7 years.. it doesn't hurt at all anymore.
      As far as the bone vs the corkscrew.. I personally like the bone over the corkscrew just because with the corkscrew it would turn in a way it would look like it was always hanging out my nose and I didn't like the appearance of it (looks like a booger) and therefore I would constantly touch it and play with it. Also it was a pain to put in. The corkscrew just didn't work for me. I like the bone because I can just leave it there and never worry about it or have to play with it. That's my preference though.. I can only speak from my experience, everyone is different.
      -Christina

      What I do is warm some water in a microwave and then use a q tip to press warm water on the outside and the inside to open up the hole a bit, like when warm water on the face will open the pores. I have no trouble changing out nose bones and switching from corkscrews when I use this method and it hasn't been quite a year that I've been pierced. Hope this helps:) Also just barely wiggle it, not a lot and pull slowly, it may take a few minutes, but no pain.

    I tend to have issues with my piercing. I had a bump for months just from using a hoop. I’ve been using an L-shape now, but I wanted to get some new jewelry. Would a bone stud irritate it?

    • @LittleMissBettyPage
      @LittleMissBettyPage 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Your best bet is to go with a spiral/corkscrew nose stud. A piercing with appropriate jewellery should never hurt you. Just be warned that a lot of L shaped studs are much much thinner than a regular nose stud so your piercing may have shrank down a little. If that is the case and you want to wear a properly fitted stud (corkscrew) then you should probably go to a professional pierced and have them change the jewellery for you. Most piercers don't charge just for changing it or charge very little. They will also have lots of different studs for you to buy.

    Please DO NOT GET A BONE NOSE STUD!! Like externally threaded, they literally rip through your skin every time you put it in and take it out. Like you’re literally making it have to heal again every time you take it out. If you’re worried about the stud falling out, just get a labret stud. They screw on and they’re super durable. Just please DO NOT GET A BONE STUD 😫😫

    How would you take it out? Like, is it easy to take out?
    I recently had my nose piercing for a year and about two weeks ago had the nose hoop in but I wanted to change it to the bone. I'm just confused on how to take it out.

      To take it out, you slowly pull it out. It's very easy to take out. Very simple =) and no problem btw! So glad I could help. Let me know if you have any other questions

    I wont is jojoba oil would make it easier but i feel like this nose ring would stretch it and cause it to be a bigger hole

    my nose bone hurts so much to take out. like the ball os way to big to pull out like the hole has shrunk to the size of the little bar. the only way it ever comes out is if i knock it out in my sleep. i keep forgetting to change it when it does!!😣

    • @ThePiercingOutlet
      @ThePiercingOutlet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only way to take it off without pulling the ball through is the clip the ball off.

    i think my nose is too thick for this piercing. after getting it in the ball keeps forcing its way up out of my inner nose so i’m deciding to take it out before the inside closes BUT i’m having trouble getting it out the outer hole since my nose is thick☹️☹️and it hurts bad. i don’t want it to fall out or close up in my sleep before i can change it tomorrow. this is already my 2nd time getting my nose repierced.

      I'm unsure of the mm size because it's a real diamond. This is the exact one that I have for reference: www.pagoda.com/diamond-accent-nose-stud-14k-gold/p/V-17539206

      It's possible your nose may be too thick for a bone. It happens.. try a bend to fit nose ring. If you live in the states, piercing pagoda has them!

    Is it normal that I had bone nose ring and it's easily fly away when I do the smallest move, lmao I was removing my makeup and I slightly touched it and boom it's out , am so confused 😪😪 I thought it's the best out of all types to stay in place but it turns out the opposite

    • @ThePiercingOutlet
      @ThePiercingOutlet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be that you were pierced with a thicker gauge than the nose ring and that's why it flies out.

      Some piercing shops use different jewelry for piercings, mine personally used a sort of L-shaped stud when they pierced mine. As long as they used a straight kind of jewelry you will be fine. Just remember that when you go to change/take it out, do it after a warm shower. I had a friend tell me that bone studs hurt to take out and put in, but taking a warm shower before changing it and twisting it helps reduce pain.
