    Amazed that the dog, stayed calm... through out the film documentary. Sometimes, animals such as horses are prone to panic - when the ground gets like this, and hence that this stuff can be deadly.

    Yes, thankfully this particular quicksand is quite harmless... due to minimal amount of water. But imagine in some parts of the world where quicksand has a much higher concentration of water (e.g. river banks)... Yikes, there is no escape from there, huh! ;-)
