I used to tag along with her every once in awhile before that, so I know what prices were like before and I know what they are now. A box of cereal used to cost $4. A 25% increase would take that box to $5. That box actually costs over $7 now. That is just one example. Some food prices might have only increased 25%. Others have doubled.
