    做運動係最有效的,唔去gym,可以係屋企做掌上壓,跑步,舉啞鈴。做完好鬆弛,夜晚瞓得好舒服。

    我是住澳洲的3孩媽咪 ,這裏的 冬天雖然沒有落雪 ,但大風又是雨季(常有hailing), 都是不容易過的, 我們捱過了,現在這裏是夏天。 感恩這裏夏天 是有熱情如火的太陽。你們在英國的加油! 不過上黎見到阿Faye嘅笑容, 真係人也會開心好多!

      澳卅冬天 下午4点多 也是天黑了。Depression 在冬天 的西方国家 也很多。也有很多神经病人。我在(London 住过-个時期) 幸好澳卅天气比較温暖。 寄自 澳卅

    Thank you so much, Faye & Stevo! In fact, this is our first winter in the UK! Gratefully, we all feel good about it! By the way, my husband and I have joined to be the school’s parent helpers in our kid’s school. It may help us make more friends through the school services! Also, it may let us settle down a bit easier with more local friends here. Being the volunteers or helpers in charity groups or church is another option for decreasing the focus on bitter winter indeed. Furthermore, we can spend more quality family times with one another especially the Christmas holidays are just the corner. Going to select & buy a real Christmas tree, presents, ornaments together. Spending days for making & doing homy Christmas decorations together with the family is also the best way to decrease the winter depression! Truly hope everyone is healthy and strong in the winter time here! Cheers🍀🍀🍀

      I was going to mention something similar too, when I enlarged the comments section and preparing to say something. Then I saw Whitney's comment here.
      Doing exercises indeed help. It does not have to be doing exercises at gym. Performing some house chores is also good exercises. Particularly, there are many solo agers who may need help in their house chores. I guess just looking around at your neighbours, one may already notice someone whom may need help. E.g., Is Stevo good at electrical? It is so expensive to get help from an electrician. May brainstorm around this topic at school or church too. The idea is similar to Repair Cafe. Check it out. Warm wishes for Christmas.

    發覺曾經有一年的冬天不停咁落雨,一月份 又凍又濕 真係好似有抑鬱, 後來發覺啲唔妥, 就開始做運動呀!參加咗行山會 咁呢本地人一齊不停咁做運動, 一個星期兩次去下森林, 每次行三個鐘 ; 冬天仲可以去雪山健行啦 , 如果好天唔係太大風嘅話 去踩單車啦, 如果 如果有太陽嗰幾日呢最好就係每日出去曬半個鐘頭太陽喇, 仲有冬天可以煲劇。

    北海道嘅冬天都係咁早天黑,又冇聽講有winter depress 😂 登登登凳,原因就係shopping,美食可以完勝SAD。大家多D去shopping,食多D好野就冇事。

    you guys are inspirational & motivational speakers😇😇! i do have a gym member, but walking there via icy paths is already a workout. need to be flexible. when bad weather strikes, need to have plan b. gonna continue the rest of this vid. have a nice Sunday!

    Shall move to London in coming January, winter depression is the one I most concerned. I fell into light level syndrome of winter depression in HK too. Thank you for the information 🙂

    I think the color of the clothes we wear also affects our mood. I found that some of my extrovert friends don’t like to wear black and gray clothes. They like to wear clothes with bright colors.

    Vitamins D 要冬天前開始食先有效,大約9月要食架啦! 呢邊一好天就立即出街對正太陽坐低至少半個鐘,當自己係solar panel 咁吸太陽能,打底去面對之後幾日落雨。床單可以用fleece 被&床單,上床個下唔會覺得凍。

    上年Blue比較少,因為負度得幾日,但今年負度已有2星期,今年真的BLUE左,加上煤氣費貴了咁多,Blue上加Blue,即刻去Amazon 發洩買左野,又駛錢🤣

    Hi, Faye and Stevo, I feel comfortable in Winter. Last winter, I take part in volunteer work in a library, and act as a playmate for Table tennis activities, to encourage any visitor to get some exercise. Take much exercise as possible, and I do cycling as the weather allowed. A small walk in the park also helps. Preparing a great meal for yourself is another way to cheer up in winter. Meet with people in your local community, join some tea party or Dancing party, there may be many many joys. Last winter in London, I am an old man with no job, living with my son, who studies for a Degree. This winter, my son has a job in London and I have a part-time job. We are living in Leeds and my son works from home, a wonderful arrangement. We also have our car and can enjoy the countryside easily. Always have a positive mind, then we can overcome anything.

    跌到零度以下, 都無去公園跑步,呢邊啲公園太靚,好吸引。有啲地區,人重好有禮貌,呢種人與人之間嘅互動,會令心情特別放鬆😄
    唔跑步,唯有齋行(倫敦無乜高山),通常會行2、30km。對腳出咗汗,一停,就好快凍,唔會停,怕生凍瘡😅

    Hi, Faye and Stevo. 今次呢個題目好好。天早咗黑,本人係自然早咗啲瞓,瞓得夠,抵抗力好啲,可以出去公園行下,呼吸新鮮空氣,睇下綠色植物,影下相做生活紀錄,心情舒暢啲。或發掘下自己住附近嘅未去過嘅地方,就好似發現新大陸,😁生活中總有新鮮感,個人會開心啲。 我都有Netflix睇片,呢幾日睇完套算係台灣輕鬆笑片,笑多啲,係心情好好多。 又店鋪年尾多大減價, 趁平去買下之前已經想買嘅嘢。天早黑但食肆未收,又會同朋友去聚下傾偈,飲嘢食嘢。仲有啲Charity shops, 林林種種嘅舊新物品都有,咁啱見到平嘅,又買到心頭愛,就好開心,又唔會洗好多錢。都鍾意打邊爐,同煲下簡單湯水潤返下火,屋企下廚,學整嘢食,聽音樂,學樣新嘢...換個角度睇件事,做令自己開心放鬆舒服嘅事等等...希望今年第1年嚟英國嘅朋友可以克服到winter depression💪💪💪祝大家新年平安☺

    Hello and greeting from United States of America, state of Michigan. Here in Michigan, during the winter. Sunrise around 8 am and sunset is 5 pm. During the winter. I usually stay inside my home unless I need go outside.

    出面快天黑, 自己又想慳電唔開燈, 盡量唔開暖氣, 結果好似長時間在又黑又凍的環境。

      買個用app調色温嘅led燈泡,得閒較做4500k色温就得(睡前1個鐘最好較返做暖色,否則影響睡眠),Amazon幾磅有交易而且led只用幾watts唔會用好多電。
      個人覺得好過sad lamp,因為sad lamp每日最多只可以照1個鐘,可轉色led燈可以較定時開關或長開。
      不過倫敦即使負5度,感覺上都無香港咁凍,所以暫時無乜開暖氣之餘仲係用緊涷水洗碗及洗手。

    我本身都幾怕凍,冬天隻手長期都凍,已前上床瞓震咗好耐先暖,自從試過臨瞓前沖完熱水之後用凍水再過一次之後趁個身仲熱快啲上床係完全唔凍😂😂

    我之前都有驗血(維D極缺乏),GP都開咗高濃度維D俾我,食完一個療程,而家都keep住食坊間啲維D supplement,心情會穩定啲。
    食香蕉都有幫助,同埋我每晚都會飲洋甘菊茶。

    想分享比細路過冬的方法, 1: TH-cam 上有kidsz bop 或the floor is lava 細路可以跳不停不用買wii。但要買個瑜伽墊以免震到隔離。
    2. 鏡,用鏡反光入房裡面照到細路的地方。同最好坐地上玩.
    3. 當有太陽時開大暖氣留在家,盡量坐晒太陽。
    4。 唱歌。不是悲歌:)
    5。 當天氣好就出去行一個小圈 快步行, 然後返屋企開晒d窗等多d oxygen入屋 。晚上唔會焗親。
    6。講笑。 唔係講笑 呢招係堅。
    7。 維他命d 同橙。 食蔥 減少感冒。
    以上方法只屬個人意見。bye bye.
