Good old Classic PvP, where you can understand what's happening and it is not just random AoE coming from nowhere that's killing you or classes that have sustained burst DPS lol
Or, oh I got that dps to 5% hp, killing g blow on him, oh he just used a complete immunity and is now back to 100% hp 4 seconds later, and it's happened 4x this match. Or one of my personal favorites, I just did 2,000,000 damage to that enemy and their hp bar went down by 10%.
I prefer retail because of how the game is always evolving, but... its nice to not have my eyes feel so strained after games LOL. not having 5000 animations on my screen
I promise you if you’re just randomly dying in almost any version of wow pvp it’s because you’re bad lmaoo. Notice how almost every person who has been known for being good in wow pvp has basically never fallen off? The pace of the game has always ebbed and flowed, but the skills required to be good have more or less been the exact same since arena was introduced in burning crusade. If you’re “good” in one variation of wow and “bad” in another variation of wow you’re probably just an average player in general and the average player is not great, especially so in retail where the actual competition is going to be most of the time.
