I like the blacked out look. How’d you attach the body mounts to the body ? I just got a 62 body and hear no idea what to do
Hey, thanks! I ended up using two strips of double stick tape on each mount(3M Grey -Ultra tack) The mounts are from Skunks Kustoms… made for the 62.
It’s a cool body, you’ll enjoy it!

That will look killer! In my part 2 video, you can see where I temporarily taped the mounts to the clear body. I used the same tape, just longer pieces to mount them permanently. They really stiffened the bumpers up too, nice!
Where can I find the black lights?
They are listed as UV (ultra violet) pre-wired 3mm LED. I purchased mine from Amazon under the Edgelec brand name. Thanks for watching

I got it at O’Reilly Auto Parts, Pro Wrap is the brand. Lots of info about that product in my video “RC Convertible Top Install”

Is the design you painted in flat black or is it just flat clear on top of top of the body after you removed the plastic?
It is just flat clear on top.. pretty simple but it works well to break things up. Thanks for checking it out!
