I have a suspicion this is a cultural issue. Different places will have different standards for what's normal and expected, and some places will just place no emphasis on it either way. Of course, that's just about what people see as "normal", and doesn't get into the fact that not everyone in a culture automatically agrees with everything in it. So there's both the "what I think of it" question and the "what I hear people around me saying about it" question. Apparently Anny rarely if ever hears the people around her making a big deal of it.
She is a Slav and on some parts pretty conservative. Trimming as a act can be seen pretty feminine act and hairiness as manly. There is a reason why first hairs on boys face are seen as signs of upcoming manhood. Everyone has their preferences some like feminine men and some masculine men. Same can be said about women.
@@Ostvalt Pubic hair isn't an feminine or masculine thing. Women also have pubic hair. Facial hair is not hair that grows in the pubic region of the body. Facial hair is only called pubic hair because it grows after or during puberty, and not the type of pubic hair that is being discussed, the type that grows on the lower abdomen, also known as the pubic region, of the body.
@@citizenvulpes4562 I was more talking about the act, not about what you are. As stated "Trimming as a act can be seen pretty feminine act" on the opposite not trimming can be seen as manly act. I never ment to imply that being bald is feminine trait if you thought that, just that there are stereostypes in slavic culture that trimming is for sissy people and hair in armpits, chest and near sexual organs is seen as manly.
01:00 maybe it's a Gayge thing, or maybe is just a cultural thing?, it seems like a funny fact to me because in my country it's completely the opposite, if a dude does shave their legs they would instantly get their heterosexuality doubted by other people lol
I hope Anny is doing okay her last Twitter post has me worried 😢.
Wdym (I dont use twitter)
@@gabrieladernebraga9339 i second this
The one about thinking to move out bc she got for the first time a noise complaint and next time police was going to be involved?
Her last Twitter post was "I can't do this" that was 15 HRs ago then she l-ocked her account and nothing since other VTubers are also worried.
@D.Mom0 Wait what?
So she prefers hair, but also she doesn't care?
Interesting thought there.
You can have a preference about something while not caring tho.
@@dloljoas Yeah, I like smol booba but dont care if they're beeg. Its one of those "If I _had_ to pick" type deals.
Not gonna lie, reading your informative comment whilst looking at that profile picture almost made laugh@@dloljoas

She says women don't care but I think it depends on culture and your take on hygiene, I personnally would want it to be trimmed be it men or women

yep, most likely :\
That's why she lives in Japan now kek.
In Europe you are pressed to find a person that isn't at least trimmed.
I think we two live in very different parts of Europe.
eh modern feminism doesn't even shave their armpits in EU XD
