Great video! Just a couple of extra notes: @ the 4:03 mark - it is NOT necessary to remove that long bolt that actually runs into the catalytic converter/exhaust pipe: just remove it halfway and then proceed with the rest of the job - you don't need to take the far arm off of the strut mount to remove it - you can easily remove the mount while leaving that bolt and the far retainer arm attached. Torque spec is 76 fps for all 4 bolts. Thanks for the video!
So i had a question❓ The 2nd bolt you took of at 2:30. I believe that's the one coming off the actual engine block if im correct. Is there a rubber boot on that bolt insert or is it all engine block? I couldn't really tell, I'd like to know if that is rubber and would it likely need to be replaced as well❓
I heard along time ago that routine lubrication with silicon lube spray on these will double the lifespan of these components. No actual experience just heard it
Thanks for the video. How did you determine that the mount was shot? My car 2013 Altima drives and idles quietly but occasionally when I accelerate uphill at slow speeds especially when I have multiple passengers the engine shakes really hard. Would replacing this mount fix my issue? The passenger side top mount looks in good shape so its not that. I replaced ignitions, coils and spark plugs but has not fixed the issue.
If you pop the hood, watch the engine, put in reverse with your foot on the brake, feed it a little gas while holding the brake, you will be able to see if the engine moves more than it should. Repeat the process in drive, keeping firm pressure on the brake. Do it in a safe place with plenty of clearance around the car, and no one standing near the car. Or have someone that's competent do it while you watch from the side. If it jumps you've got a bad mount. If not I'd scan the computer for more info, check the front end, steering, suspension, wheel bearings, et cetera.
If you wanna 100% know if it’s your engine mounts . Grab a floor jack and take some weight off your engine . Go inside your car hold the brake at all times and switch to drive and reverse. If it doesn’t make any more noise or shake it’s your engine mounts
I have the same problem i just bought for my 2015 2.5 altima… what’s the problem?? I just cleaned my TB and air flow mass sensor. Still shakes abd vibrated aa you stated….. i plan on replacing alll my mounts and transmission mounts plus shocks, both cv axle front(both leaks) and i hope this shit fixed it smh 🤦🏿♂️
@JAGUAR230, I have to agree with this as I just changed my cabin air filter a few weeks ago. I had to remove my glove box just to get to it, and it made such a mess. I absolutely dread having to replace it. Chris.

I couldn't find any other videos going over the lower mount it's always the 2 on top. Great video 10/10

How many miles did your car have when you had to replace the mount?
What rear engine mount did you use? How’s it holding up ?
No thread locker?
