Eventually I made my way here to this channel. I find what you are doing is theraputic and relaxing, your background talking really adds a nice touch to the overall feel of the video. Haha you mention the fall cleaning with the maple leaves! Yeah the whole surface was covered in leaves. That was an epic cleaning and I'm always happy to see a return to the trash rack. One of the first videos I watched. The lake drain is a strong contender for the best cleaning you did. It's like the Mozart of unclogging followed closely by the wooden bridge over the edge of the beaver pond.

It is purely by recognizing the surroundings and structures with or in diverse video's that I can tell where we are, because I do not even live in the States and I am surprised it is a year later, time truly flies, wow I indeed remember me the leaves covered surface video, it looked So pretty, the fall leave colors!
All your videos are interesting. Massachusetts really did have a terrible drought. The stream in the conservation area I hike almost daily dried up last summer, I've seen it get low some years but never dry up completely.

I thought of you last week, we had loads of rain here in the UK and when I was driving home from a night shift one of the storm drains at the bottom of my road was blocked and there were guys there with rakes!
Hey Post 10, I really like that triangular trash rack, I wish that there were lots more of them I finally got to talk with the city official about the beaver problem in the river by the park. She has forwarded the information to the city council so they are now aware of the situation, she did get to the park and took pictures and video of the tree damage and destruction by the beavers There are no plans at this time to trap or remove the beavers at least until the spring and she said she knows that the concrete dam is scheduled for demolition but doesn't know when that will happen or if the demo crew is supposed to remove the rocks and silt from the river bed though it seems likely they will remove the majority of rocks and silt I'll try to keep you updated as I find out anything else
Silly question, have you ever thought of putting a gopro or the equivalent on a little boat or flotation device and sending it through the tunnel. Cool vid!
I wonder what you would do if they hire you as the Culvert V.P. of Operations of Tristate Areas.... you would probably create and mobilize a huge work crew to unclogged all the culverts but that would put you behind a desk and not doing your videos...so stay the way you are and have fun.
Unfortunately for you in US and for us in Australia , the La Nina event looks to persist for 2023 at least, so very likely next year will repeat the draught in US and heavy rain with floods in Australia.

This place is always great to see like the lake drain where the discharge pipe is too small and broken, also the intake clogs are always interesting.

Keep a drill and bit with you that can drill thru the top of the culvert and secure the rack with a zip tie.

They should make the bars horizontal instead of vertical. Then the current would push the debris to the side of the culvert
In England we call those woods Nature Reserves and no hunting
