I've watched around 15 videos about a tote bag and you're the first, and only one, to demonstrate and explain how to do the corners. Fantastic demonstration, thank you!

Great video. I would like to offer a tip. I use masking tape to secure the pattern to the leather. The pattern is less likely to shift while I am scoring the leather.

Good idea. I prefer using small weights to hold down my acrylic templates while I'm tracing onto the leather. www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7OKUAV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

great video. i loved that you showed how you hand stich it. i have watched other videos where they made these and they used a machine, and in the comments people mentioned they hand stitched theirs, but i am new to this so i was thinking they used a stitching pony. your video is great since it shows that isnt the case. thank you for a great instructional step by step video.

I bought a LV bag gtdupe years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

Hi, sorry for my stupid questions, but I’m learning right! At the very beginning of the video (around 2.10 minutes) you are telling about your thread. It is a “3.5 natural waxed thread”. I just want to make sure what the 3.5 are as I’m living in a country using metric. If I know the unit behind the 3.5 I can manage to find a conversion table. Oh yes, and what is the material? Cotton, nylon,… Thank you very much.

24" x 16.75"? Does it matter how big the notches are, or is that up to preference of how wide you want the finished product to be?
