Another thing: the mercenaries or so called “soldier” aren’t real people. They are cyborgs. There is multiple proof of this. First of all, each and one of Roblox account is a mercenary soldier that can be programmed in the settings. They can change FOVs and what not. Each and one of the mercenaries are different from one another depending of the setting. Second, your character has super human strength. Being able to “super jump”, get shot multiple times, including headshots on some weapons, sprint forever, carry a extreme amount of weight, performs reloads perfectly one after another, survive extreme heights without breaking bones, self regeneration and no bleeding. Your character is clearly not just a normal human, it’s something else. Third, chats. Your character don’t talk, they chat through an public chat. Forth, there is a group of people being able to abuse this power of cyborg technology…hackers. They are corrupt cyborgs who overpowered themselves to have incredible powers, but the regular soldier has 1 move that can take them out, votekick. If the soldier is trained enough, they can start a votekick. If the kick get enough vote, the hacker will be diminished, shut downed and be gone. And last, a move a normal human can’t ever perform, respawn. It seem like when you die, you create a clone and respawn yourself. The last thing I have to say is the console have 1 thing in particular that makes me think you are a cyborg. The console claims that the ballistic tracker works by detecting the chip implant into the back of your head. That chip only mean one thing, used by the radar. As a cyborg, you can scan the area for friendly soldiers and put him on your minimap, and know his name. Ballistic tracker abuse this and decide how high you have to aim to put the enemy down. Hackers can abuse the chip and know not only all friendly location and name but also enemy soldier’s location and name, and create the exploit: ESP. Thank you for reading this explanation

The abandoned tanks in Desert Storm always gave me the impression of a heavy military presence. Who knows? Maybe they were driven back, and Ghosts were sent in to succeed where the Egyptian Army failed (obviously this does not line up with the lore in the video)
Well thinking about the whole middle east problem. It could of been very well America used them to fight Egypt.. perhaps the more maps we get.. The more we get to understand what's going on.. And further more if a World war has already taken place due to the sudden divison and what not.
Imagine they add some new mercenary groups only to appear very rarely or on certain maps only, wouldn't that be cool? And more lore accurate? Maybe Wraiths with dark green vests, Shades with silver vests, Shadows with pitch black vests or maybe even Dryads with green vests but with dark green overalls unlike all the other dark grey ones. They might even have some different model designs as well. Like Dryads wearing a ghillie hood and Shadows wearing black balaclavas. I am saying these since Phantoms and Ghosts are not the only big mercenary groups out there. Edit: Wraiths might be better with dark purple vests as well.
I can think Wraith.could be a seperate group mercenary that consisting rouge member of Phantom and Ghost that escape from the battlefield by pulling out the chips implanted in their neck.

@@TwilightPiercer It seem to be connect to the brain of the mercenaries thus creating the GUI, controling movement and bound the mercenaries in an area (Proven by the fact that you can't going out of the map, you just stop at a certain place.). That why I came up with the idea that somehow, maybe an EMP blast or a lucky hit to the neck, the chips got broken but cause very minimal harm to the mercenaries, allow them to escape the border.
That's the most intense fanfic I've ever heard. In all seriousness though, new teams would be cool, but I don't really see a point unless certain teams have access to certain loadouts.
I'd love them to add some mercenary groups that have gotten more power, it would make the game much more competitive in some cases because of the fewer soldiers in each team that constantly need to look for other enemies
Yeah, I think we've had enough competitive games. Go back to your CSGO and Apex, we really don't need an E-Sport for a Roblox game. Roblox doesn't deserve that
I'm almost certain that the group didn't split off into *just* two groups, maybe it did broke apart but the two biggest glass shards just happens to be the "Ghosts" and "Phantoms". Perhaps, "Ghosts" and "Phantoms" aren't even groups themselves since there is no member in each group who seeks to stay loyal permanently.
This is also correct to assume. As if the group is now broken.. You can expect their emotions to take over rather then focusing on the mission. It could be that they may even been able to start mini nations as well.. But I'm assuming since we are focused around the two stronger ones.. It would most likely be them to have some sort of nation set up.. Just and idea I had.

I do like how the backstory (like team fortress) explains every mechanic in the game. Valve does this too with trailers and such. One example is that all cutscenes in left 4 dead 2 basically have every mechanic in the game. Very cool.

My headcanon of Phantom Forces: The setting would be WWIII, where NATO countries and the Russian-led Asian Continental Military Force (ACMF) countries are fought each other for teritorial control. In this headcanon, we of course have two factions. The Phantoms were actually a US-Based multinational Task Force called Task Force 12, also known as the Phantom Task Force. The field commander is known by none other than his codename: "Virtus", who go by the callsign "Phantom Actual". The Ghosts are Egypt-based Mercenary group but they have significant alignments to the ACMF with its exclusivity deal, and the fact that Egypt is one of the members of the ACMF. The Ghosts are vital to the ACMF Operations as it posses tactics, expertise, and even gears that oridnary ACMF army didn't have. Both factions are equal by power, and they are frequently face each other on one battle to another. As you can see, for this headcanon, I've mixed After The Flash stuff like adding the ACMF in my PF Headcanon, so i want it to be like the prequel to the ATF series set before the nuclear explosion.
There's a tribute to Bad Business in Bazaar, it says something along the lines of "We will keep fighting, even when the phantom's forces come to get us" It seems like the phantoms are an anti-terrorist group while the ghosts are the terrorists (USA: blue terrorist group: orange) And it seems like maps like metro, highway lot, etc. Belong to the phantoms while maps like Bazaar, desert storm, etc. Belong to the ghosts.
Stylis should really do an event where Phantoms and Ghosts have to work together against a third mercenary group bigger than the two separate groups, and for the event make 32 v 32 groundwar lobby sizes
I love the fact this gives almost a explanation on everything about the game, how you could kill your friend in one match and have them on your team the next match
I like to imagine the other major mercenary groups in PF are also named after incorporeal beings. Stuff like Spirits, Shades, Poltergeists, Yo-kai, etc
The history or backstory makes since but there is one thing that stood out the most the friendly fire. If they killed their own men then once they returned for their payment the rest would have noticed their wasn’t as many men, with that being said then how did they not notice and why didn’t they finish the rest of the group off while they had the chance . That adds another point why would they decide they wanted to go against their mission unless they knew something the rest of them didn’t so what would they have known to push them to killing their comrades at arm?
Every time you spawn in your actually controlling a different body every time, pushing said body’s consciousness down into the subconscious where they watch as the player does whatever they want, and they can’t do anything because they are just a passenger in their own body.
One of PF's Dark Side theories are all soldiers of mercenaries in PF are maybe just like Clone Troopers from Star Wars (Inspired from the Top 1 comment theory) so if The Ghosts and Phantoms are fighting does it mean that they're just killing the people that they trusted back then? The ones they loved? The ones they treated as Brothers? So if they're possibly might be clones... They're just killing each other for absolutely no reason at all
Well seeing how the Republic the so called ``Good guys.`` Did bring everything to hell once they got into power.. I wouldn't be surprised that these were possible outcomes.. It would of been revolution after the other right? With both sides in a constant state of war?
I always love Mercenary groups in fiction and this just adds to the excitement of it. Phantom Forces needs to add more Mercenary groups to the game. Imagine there was a Mercenary Group in Phantom Forces lore called Fenrir. Edit: Tho I do have a question. If Stylist Studios wanted the leader back in Egypt causing the split of the big Mercenary group to happened. Then why did some of the solders in the mercenary group thought it was a good idea that they can control the base themselves, if the goal that Stylist Studios wanted from the start, was to over throw the leader and split the Mercenary group into two? Because to me, it just sounds like a bunch of gymnastics just to get to their actual objective. Why kill the leader and convince the solders into thinking that they can control the base in Egypt, if you can just use propaganda into splitting the big Mercenary group into two Mercenary groups. Because Propaganda has always worked with these types of situations. Especially if that same big Mercenary group that was previously united, is now having conflict within the group. Think about it like an authoritarian group or a Government for example. In these types of situations where the big baddy wants to control the outcome of something, they normally use propaganda into splitting previously united people or groups, against them and playing off their conflicts with each other. That way, the big baddy can have more control, well the people tearing themselves apart can become less united. Yes. I'm using Psychology as a way to break down Stylist Studios plan. What am I doing with my life. lol 😂
why does this make me excited for a future phantom forces event, like where you fight stylis studios and the phantoms and the ghosts team up to beat stylis
Fun fact: there is a message on one of the game ending screens saying that if everyone stops playing the game the war will end basically saying that it’s a never ending war with us making the decisions on ether continuing a war or ending a war. Ps: the game end quote that I’m talking about is really rare I’ve played since release and only recently I’ve gotten that quote.

I came up with 2 groups (The Banshee) and (the Reapers Dogs) The Banshee are allies to the phantoms,there were rumoured that they are the spetnaz in disguise,they wear red vest which seem to hammered the spetnaz rumour a bit. The Reaper Dogs are a mercenary group That seems to be made by ex Devil Dogs Members,they wear tan vest,they were rumoured to be a double Merc group (something like double agents) for the Phantoms and the Ghost under the alias Riptides.
That video was amazing! I got excited about the phantom forces backstory, and about that there are more mercenary groups than just phantoms and ghosts, that sounds very cool too and hope that stylis would really make some stuff about the storyline.

Yo ngl this kinda calls for more teams it could add a lot to the lore like for example let’s call the unified group the stylis mercenary company and then have a sort of Rome and Carthage situation where there is another powerful mercenary company that dissolved before the Egyptian split imagine like how cool that’d be (after finishing this video so more lore ideas have come to my head that it’ll take so long to explain them all)
on the "members switch sides depending on who pays more" section, i disagree with that statement since we get paid nothing unless we rank up, and even coming first on the leaderboard gets you only 50 credits, who ever is "paying" us is cheap as hell

There's a tribute to Bad Business in Bazaar, it says something along the lines of "We will keep fighting, even when the phantom's forces come to get us" It seems like the phantoms are an anti-terrorist group while the ghosts are the terrorists (USA: blue terrorist group: orange)
And it seems like maps like metro, highway lot, etc. Belong to the phantoms while maps like Bazaar, desert storm, etc. Belong to the ghosts.
It kinda sounds like it's focused more around the middle east. But Idk since we aren't gave exact years as far as I know.

I like to imagine the other major mercenary groups in PF are also named after incorporeal beings. Stuff like Spirits, Shades, Poltergeists, Yo-kai, etc
The history or backstory makes since but there is one thing that stood out the most the friendly fire. If they killed their own men then once they returned for their payment the rest would have noticed their wasn’t as many men, with that being said then how did they not notice and why didn’t they finish the rest of the group off while they had the chance . That adds another point why would they decide they wanted to go against their mission unless they knew something the rest of them didn’t so what would they have known to push them to killing their comrades at arm?

Phantom forces campaign missions would be really nice
Every time you spawn in your actually controlling a different body every time, pushing said body’s consciousness down into the subconscious where they watch as the player does whatever they want, and they can’t do anything because they are just a passenger in their own body.

One of PF's Dark Side theories are all soldiers of mercenaries in PF are maybe just like Clone Troopers from Star Wars (Inspired from the Top 1 comment theory) so if The Ghosts and Phantoms are fighting does it mean that they're just killing the people that they trusted back then? The ones they loved? The ones they treated as Brothers? So if they're possibly might be clones... They're just killing each other for absolutely no reason at all
Well seeing how the Republic the so called ``Good guys.`` Did bring everything to hell once they got into power.. I wouldn't be surprised that these were possible outcomes.. It would of been revolution after the other right? With both sides in a constant state of war?
I always love Mercenary groups in fiction and this just adds to the excitement of it.
Phantom Forces needs to add more Mercenary groups to the game. Imagine there was a Mercenary Group in Phantom Forces lore called Fenrir.
Edit: Tho I do have a question. If Stylist Studios wanted the leader back in Egypt causing the split of the big Mercenary group to happened. Then why did some of the solders in the mercenary group thought it was a good idea that they can control the base themselves, if the goal that Stylist Studios wanted from the start, was to over throw the leader and split the Mercenary group into two? Because to me, it just sounds like a bunch of gymnastics just to get to their actual objective.
Why kill the leader and convince the solders into thinking that they can control the base in Egypt, if you can just use propaganda into splitting the big Mercenary group into two Mercenary groups. Because Propaganda has always worked with these types of situations. Especially if that same big Mercenary group that was previously united, is now having conflict within the group. Think about it like an authoritarian group or a Government for example. In these types of situations where the big baddy wants to control the outcome of something, they normally use propaganda into splitting previously united people or groups, against them and playing off their conflicts with each other. That way, the big baddy can have more control, well the people tearing themselves apart can become less united.

Fun fact: there is a message on one of the game ending screens saying that if everyone stops playing the game the war will end basically saying that it’s a never ending war with us making the decisions on ether continuing a war or ending a war. Ps: the game end quote that I’m talking about is really rare I’ve played since release and only recently I’ve gotten that quote.

I came up with 2 groups (The Banshee) and (the Reapers Dogs)
The Banshee are allies to the phantoms,there were rumoured that they are the spetnaz in disguise,they wear red vest which seem to hammered the spetnaz rumour a bit.
The Reaper Dogs are a mercenary group
That seems to be made by ex Devil Dogs
Members,they wear tan vest,they were rumoured to be a double Merc group
(something like double agents) for the
Phantoms and the Ghost under the alias
Riptides.
What I like about this lore is that there's no higher motive that made the group split, no morality and no clear "good guys" vs "bad guys".
The fact that it is a collapsed group is said right in game.
That video was amazing! I got excited about the phantom forces backstory, and about that there are more mercenary groups than just phantoms and ghosts, that sounds very cool too and hope that stylis would really make some stuff about the storyline.
there was a map called "Second Storm" wich may be a hint about Phantoms raiding the egypt base again.

Yo ngl this kinda calls for more teams it could add a lot to the lore like for example let’s call the unified group the stylis mercenary company and then have a sort of Rome and Carthage situation where there is another powerful mercenary company that dissolved before the Egyptian split imagine like how cool that’d be (after finishing this video so more lore ideas have come to my head that it’ll take so long to explain them all)
on the "members switch sides depending on who pays more" section, i disagree with that statement since we get paid nothing unless we rank up, and even coming first on the leaderboard gets you only 50 credits, who ever is "paying" us is cheap as hell
