From your experience, do you believe I can be successful in sourdough making? This particular video was extremely helpful. I like the amount you work with, seems manageable. I hope to try your wrap recipe once my starter and discard are ready.

By the way you will only end up with little discard which is manageable for each day. I also remember your comment, you mentioned being in Gambia. Maybe a helpful question is why are you making a Starter? I use my discard for everything I bake and for certain foods. Bread, cakes, pasta, muffins, waffles, pancakes and even in my compost. I would say incorporate it into your daily lifestyle.

My sourdough starter is extremely sour smelling... Will this flavor be in the baked bread? Is there a way to avoid it?
