J24 2024 Texas Independence Regatta race 2 day 1 at Rush Creek Yacht Club. Our first stop of the 2024 J24 Texas circuit. We had another good race managing to get second in the Second race.
It is recommended to view in 2060p for the best experience.

Nice. (1) Your cockpit guy is good and underutilized up wind. I know the work distribution you use is normal for J/24, but it would be interesting to see how things would go if he trimmed main up wind. (2) What does the regatta winner do better than you guys?

Thank you the guy trimming jib is actually me. On the 24 we almost never cleat the jib it’s constantly being played in puffs and lulls. The first place boat they are really good we often go back and forth after the race about what each other did different

The guys on "40" are very gentle during pre-start. They could have had you two times. Also the guys on "69" are nice guys. They could have luffed you into the wind at 04:15 just before the start. They could have pulled the red flag.
