Your copy is basically the entity that exists in mario 64 personalizing them for people, but hes all alone with no one to talk to, and he can change his own appearance, first taking on the form of mario, then becoming depressed from being alone, changing his appearance to mach his emotional state

Also I might be a little late to the party, but I can give you the context of the entire mod
So this mod is not exactly a Mario creepypasta mod, it's about the myths and rumors of strange things from Mario 64 that people gossip about in the internet
There's L is real, a myth about being able to unlock Luigi in SM64
Wario apparition, another myth about a giant creepy Wario head appearing in certain copies of the game
Personalized Mario, a twisted representation of SM64's personalized copies
Gilbert, The uncanny Mario meme
Speedrunner Mario, a goofy looking version of mario from Terminal Montague animations
And M ;, , a corrupted version of mario that wants to set peace to the mushroom kingdom by getting rid of the player
That's really cool! I just assumed they were all iterations of some sort of creepypasta, but it's really interesting to see it from the viewpoint of it being gossip on SM64. That's pretty cool, thanks for sharing!

finally, this mod! probably one of my most favorite mods sofar, behind Black Betrayal and VS. TF2.
btw, during Your Copy - the Mario here is based upon Personalization creepypasta. "every copy if personalized", as they say. so, during this song - Mario is actually getting his vocals personalized; corrected, so to speak. first they are based on the beta clips used as a placeholder. but then it synchronizes...becomes the vocals at the end. Your Copy is composed by Churg/Strum. he is unhinged, but his music...captivates every part of your brain and soul.
the last song, Better Off, has been in devhell for a big while, though. how were the effects for ya? haha
Oh, that's pretty neat! I'm not one to follow creepypastas but it's really interesting to learn about them! Looking back, it definitely felt like Mario's vocals changed in "Your Copy"
Better Off really had my eyes struggling to see haha. It's insane how the coded everything for the glitching effects and the window moving bits to work!

the luigi in the statue is based off the "l is real" theory from a 30-40 years ago, basically implying that luigi was meant to be playable in mario 64, and it was proven true,however in the mod, luigi basically drowned in the fountain.
