I had a big problem with this interview-- it was too damn short!! This man's life deserves several books. Thank you for this much

This man is the prime example of a war hero and is why America is what it is. His resilience is why we are free. Its amazing that he remembers every date, who died where and when. Unfortunately with a memory like that he more than likely pays the price in his sleep.
Thank you sir to you and the greatest generation on earth for you heroic service. 🇺🇲

These time restrained interviews really do an injustice for these Vets. This man served in 3 wars, there should be at the least 3 hours but his and all others should take as long as they need to tell their story.

My grandpa (from Dallas, GA) joined in 1940 and left Oct 1945. His last outfit was the 113th Cav in Europe. His mos was MP before the war and left as warrant officer. That's all I know. Don't know if he fought or anything. My mom said he went AWOL but I found US Army records showing his last paycheck with all the facts.

Interviewer needs to learn how to transition out of conversation he seems to cut him off when he's about to have a moment or share more stories. Good conversation but not the best way of interviewing.
