What's up yall! For everyone who missed my community post, please let me humbly apologize for the recent delays in getting videos out and give you a couple of updates:
- Our home's water-heater broke and flooded some of my house, including my office / "recording studio". I won't have access to that space for some time while the flooring is being replaced, etc. In the meantime, I'm adjusting as quickly as I can and will try to get videos out asap.
- I'm going through some tough personal stull, yall. And I'm still actively looking for jobs and interviewing, which I'm sure you know takes time. I promise I'm trying to stay consistent, please send me any positive vibes and thoughts and try to bear with me if I mess up and have a couple of delays.

I have watched both seasons of Panchayat while residing in Australia. I must admit that I have eagerly anticipated the release of season 3, which is scheduled for May 28th, more than anything else in my life. The imminent arrival of Panchayat 3 has garnered significant attention and become a prominent topic of discussion in India. Notably, my Australian friends, despite not comprehending Hindi, have developed a profound appreciation for the series, having watched the first two seasons twice. The captivating element of this series that resonates with a global audience is its simplicity.
In the last scene, the bike starts in 1 kick. Everytime he use to kick 4-5 times to start 😂

The way Indian/eastern mathematicians and numbering systems notate these big numbers is :
Going from rightmost digit leftmost : one comma after the first three digits (units, tens and thousands) , but then after this set of three its a set of twos all the way to the leftmost in any number. So, the next set is thousands and ten thousands, then a comma to separate , then followed by two more digits which is of the "laakh" or "lakh" value. Those are again of two - Lakhs and ten lakhs. Then, another two set which is the "Crore" value - Crores, then ten crore. And then, again a set of two - Arab (not to be confused with the Arab religion) - Arabs, and then ten arabs. After Arab we have something known as Kharab, which also follows Kharab and Ten Kharab. These largers values (arab and kharab) are most commonly where the numbering limits caps cuz most colloquial languages here limit at that; although there may be bigger numbers, no doubt about that.
Comparing it with Western mathematicians and numbering systems, which follows comma separators after every three - units, tens and thousands in one set, then you have thousands, ten thousands and hundred thousands etc, then you have millions, ten millions and hundred millions etc
At 5:43 Pradhaan mentions "35 lakh" which would be - 35,00,000 . Notice from rightmost to leftmost how the first comma is at the same first three which is same in Indian numbering system as is followed in the Western numbering system, but then after those three the comma shows us after 2 digits here; whereas according to the Western system this would've shown up after another three.
So, according to the Western system that would become 3,500,000 which is 3 million and five hundred thousand.
Edit: going by the exchange rate of 11 May 2024, 3500K INR is approx 42K USD

We don't like him but we hardly understand that we need people like Bhusan (Banrakas) in a country......else the people in power will misuse our tax money.........this tvf series showed how we got biased towards secretary and Pradhan and hated Bhusan just because he didn't have charismatic way of interacting.
