Besides the singer's change in 2020 (Sushi > Nico), there was only one lineup change: back in 2012 original drummer Micha left out of private reasons and David joined. In March of 2022, Micha filled in for a live performance on a German tv show (they played Pump it!) as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border with his buddy & colleague Gustav (drummer of Tokio Hotel). Guitarist Pascal (the tongue-out one 😉) is half of SChillo Bros., the other guitarist is Daniel H. aka Danskimo (not to be confused with bassist Daniel K.), he does the majority of their production and programming. The made quite a few of these "Live on Stage POV" videos, even one of "Castrop X Spandau" with Kalle Koschinsky (Live in Hannover, it's on Kalle's channel). And yes, the camera operator is on stage among them. They dress up for the songs with the most iconic videos (WGTM, Hypa Hypa, Pump It and currently Ratatata). Both the MC Thunder clips are storytelling videos with the band not appearing (David has a cameo in the first one), so no costumes for those. After Kevin announced the song, Nico said "Berlin! Are you still there?", before the first chorus Nico says "Where are you?" and Kevin "Berlin, sing with us! Come on!", before the breakdown Kevin tells the audience to jump with them "eight times to the right and then eight times to the left". So cute how your son came sneaking up behind you 💛😊
Well done! There are many more on stage pov live videos for EC for you to watch. They're always awesome. But please check out the original video (even if you do it on your own time), it's a funny one (you need to know the main character for MC Thunder 2) and David has a little guest appearance. BTW please also check out Electric Callboys "sister" band Samurai Pizza Cats. It's a side project of Daniel Danskimo Haniß. Best one to start would be "Pizza Homicide" which also happens to feature Nico from EC.
@@Abigirl_Reacts Yeah, it sure is. They're very EC-like (no wonder, they're basically one big family; Danskimo is guitarist in both bands, he is producer for both bands, Pascal and his brother are also making their music videos, etc.), but their music usually tends to be a tiny bit harder and they're not as super - successful as EC itself (but also growing).
Thanks so much for another great reaction. When you first asked if that member was one of their video directors, you guessed right. That's Pascal Schillo. The second you asked about is their other guitarist Daniel Haniß/Haniss, nicknamed Danskimo. I haven't actually seen this live performance of MC Thunder I, really enjoyed it. Can't wait for MC Thunder II, and really excited for you to drop your reaction to Hurrikan. 🤘
The brother of Pascal is not part of the band, but of video production team (Schillo Bros). You can see him in some "Behind the Scenes" videos like Evertime you touch BTS. The guy behind cam is Christian. He is since start of 2024 official content creator of the band, but he makes lots of vlog and live shots for EC before. There are other live POV videos on their channel.
@@Abigirl_Reacts And Christian isn't just the camera guy for Electric Callboy. He is also doing this with Sabaton. And they also got a tour camera guy besides Christian.
Really cute you got a tiny visitor :D The music video for MC Thunder 1 and 2 follows a (hilarious) character played by someone not in the band, so no relevant costumes for them here. As always a fantastic reaction :D even if it wasn't your favorite song ^^
They do have Christian (their camera man) on stage with them who films it. And they do have more On Stage POV videos and they are so cool! You should definitely check out more of them live!
I always enjoy your reactions. I would definitely recommend the official music video if you're going to MC Thunder 2 next. The final part of the song, and the breakdown, seemed designed around the visuals, which are so much fun, but I won't spoil the twist. It is such a fun video.
MC THUNDER 2 coming up next!! So glad you enjoyed them again Their concerts are incredible and constant dancing and party time. They sound insane every time and everyone brings it 1000%
Hi Abs, a fantastic reaction. I haven't seen this video before either and I agree with you, I like the POV for the shoot, it really gives you a feel of how EC work their crowds and shows how professional they really are. Great stuff.
Translation for most of the German parts: 1:30 "Berlin, are you still here?" 5:45 "Berlin, sing with me" 6:40 "Berlin! The esteemed gentleman has something to say. For the next part, we need you, Berlin. We want to jump together. We’ll jump 8 times to the right, and then 8 times to the left. And we’ll keep going back and forth. We’ll show you how, and you’ll follow along. People, listen to us." 9:54 "Thank you very much."
I was at this show in Berlin and it was my first time i see them live. A lots of fun. Since then, i saw them several times and its always a pleasure. This show was in the "Columbiahalle" Berlin and had a capacity of round about 3000 people. Since the last Tour, they play bigger venues up to 20k and its always sold out.
I'm going to sound like a simp again, but I love how every reaction slowly reveals something about your personal life. Its a genius way to keep us engaged.
They do have "uniforms" for a number of songs, like "We got the moves", "Ratatata", "Hypa Hypa", etc. These uniforms are the same outfits they are using in the music videos. Yes, the members are the same, the only member they have changed in the last 10 years is Nico in for their former vocalist Sebastian Biesler (i think his name is), 4 or 5 years ago. The "directing brothers" are Oliver and Pascal Schillo. Pascal is one of the guitarists in the band (at 6:28, you point him out), Oliver is not a band member :) This song is from the "Pre Nico" era.
From the Schillo brothers is only one in the band. Pascal the guitarist. They jumped all in the same direction because Kevin told them so "8 steps to the right and 8 to the left" and who can resist Kevin commands? At least you did MC Thunder I. As I mentioned before, look for Hurrikan and not Hurricane that is a different song.
First this is the line-up you know. After Nico joined the band there were no more change. It’s a pity you didn’t choose the video clip because Nico isn’t there, the video is so funny, and in my opinion, the song sounds better. But I love your reactions, and also this one. Keep on going so well. 👍

lol, your hatchlings youtube debut was adorable XD. Great reaction to this one! I'm with you 100% on MC Thunder being kind of a middle of the road entry in Electric Callboys catalogue. They have so many bangers that it's almost odd to see a song/video of theirs that's objectively good, but doesn't have that "it" factor you know? It must be a byproduct of their success lol. We always expect absolute genius from them, but when we get objectively good songs we just kind of shrug them off XD. They're so good that they've desensitized us. I've had that happen with another band I love, 'Jinjer', a female-fronted alternative metal band from Ukraine. The band is SO consistently good and pushes the boundaries on so many different metal genres that when they put out a song that's just good... I'm actually a little let down. If this goes on, EC is going to need to sky dive out of a space ship into a volcano to get us hyped lol. Hope your day's going well and that your comment mosh-pit is rowdy! (In a good way)
I think my mini me is my girl. My son looks just like dad! (With the lighter hair and eyes) but my daughter has dark hair and eyes like me. I'm so happy I got my mini me haha 😄
I dream about a world where (music) reaction streamers just let keep the music going and don't pause the song every several seconds and destroy the whole song with it. You can react, of course, but don't pause the song! Fuckin hell!
You're silly. That's the point of reacting. I'm not gonna yell over the song the whole time haha but I wish you luck in finding your preferred reactor.

The fact why Micha left the band I never know, thanks for the Info. I also didn't know he replaced David in a german tv show. What tv show was it?
