I play rocket, boombox, skateboard, all the phighters a Hyperlaser might hate.
Never have I felt more pain for a hyperlaser than today.
(also you can tell if you got the phighter you want by if your mouse appears during the round intro or not, so you spare yourself some time praying you got hyper)

even in competitive play a ton of hypers struggle with being jumped by other players. so yeah sometimes you just cant run. but i did have tons of times where i was able to shake up people who jump me and kill them.
