Love the videos, and thank you for helping explain tool positions. watching you drop the sharpie cap made me laugh as it reminded me of many cap drops i have made. I found sharpie makes a finer point click type felt pen that works great in my wood shop, if you drop caps a lot you might try one out, i like the one handed operation of them.
Great video Tim. Which one tastes better... maple or bubinga? At 12.10 the squealing that happens? Is that the tool against the wood causing that squeal or the wood against the chuck causing the squeal and is it cause for concern?
What a gruesome episode. Damn near choked to death and chopped your hand off. Wood turning is risky business. Keep it up...the great projects not the gore. Stay safe.
