He's the king of the 70s. My older brother was wearing bell bottom jeans, high heel shoes, and gold chains. He still keeps them in his closet. Those were the days.
I am born 1948 and for me 50s were the best than 60s than 70s and 80s were the last ok decade after that not so good and now it’s the worst

Yeah, we had Select T.V., this, Grease, and Mary Poppins were my favorites, luckily Select ran these on heavy rotation. You would need 25 Brad Pitts to equal 1 Travolta, then.

Listen to Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars. You’ll swear it sounds just like 70’s Disco and R&B! So much of today’s Pop music is influenced by the great music of this era. The kids today love it but think that’s it’s all original. 😂

Love this song, even more now than in 1977! This truly is the definitive disco era film. I think its status as a cultural phenomenon and the crazy success of the soundtrack album overshadowed how truly good John Travolta was in this. His depiction of Brooklyn teen Tony Manero striving for more in life than his tough, blue-collar upbringing is equal parts subtle, intense, heartbreaking and charming. It's a transcendent role that helped propel Travolta to superstardom.

I was 14 and totally crushing John Travolta❤❤❤ the movie was/is a classic of the era!! Those years were the best a teenager could ask for!
It was a time to end all times, a movie so perfect to depict the spirit of the time. Iconic and lasting. It was good being a working musician during this era.
Used to have a blast going to the club on Friday and Saturday nights back in the day. Glad I lived through that time.

JT had more moves than allied van lines. It's nice to reminence, it makes you happy and sad at the same time. We can never go back, but we can always remember, just how much fun we had at that wonderful time in our life.
I was born in 1990 but this is far the best time for music when bee gees were producing absolute classics like this. Songs like this get you up and dancing.

I was born in '70: recall how, during the '75-78 stretch, EVERYTHING the Bee Gees released was golden! One of my best friends - born in '74 - was never a fan of the Bee Gees (more of a straight-ahead rock guy), but he likes THIS song. You have great taste, my friend!

Travolto kills in this film Its just so good. The Bee Gees sound track is just on another level. I was at a place for St. Patricks day and all the girls sang night fever song like they knew it and all we not born before it came out. Its just timeless.
