Music to the vintage ears , who were fortunate to see these in real life in the past. The ALCO's were not as advanced as GE locomotives but ALCO agreed for technology transfer to India. These loco's were simple, robust and were the work horses of Indian railways from early 70's till the advent of electrical locomotives.
