    I want to say thank you so much for choosing my video.. Two subscribers told me about this video and REALLY wanted to say thank you dude.. I feel honored and may think of it as nothing, but it really put a smile on my face and my sons.. Thank you so much you have very good subscribers on your channel and I became one ( a subscriber ) just now.

    As for exhaust, I've got just a pair of Flowmaster super 40's on and it really wakes up the sound of the car. Plenty enough for the driver and anyone nearby to notice but not overbearing with drone. Quiets right down when you're just cruising.

  • @MelodyOo
    @MelodyOo 4 ปีที่แล้ว +65

    Leave the exhaust the way it is. that's just my personal opinion, everyone straight pipes any modded car it's kinda getting old.

    Your best bet may be. cut off the Mufflers after the H pipe and remove the Mufflers as well as all the exhaust pipe behind em. you may have to cut twice due to the rear end. That muffler delete won't have too bad a drone and actually is mellow at idle but when you need to hear it it's available at throttle. good compromise between stock and deleting the cats it's a happy medium. Some decent weight reduction if that matters .

    I once bought an ex cop car from Bountiful Utah. In Utah the police departments are required to get their cars safety inspected and registered just like any other car. The car was a 1990 Caprice. That car sold me on ex cop cars. It cornered like it was on rails. I loved it. I ended up selling it in Nevada to a retired Utah Highway Patrolman. He loved the car for his daily driver.

    I just want that car you have back here in Bristol UK. Great vid as usual Randy! It reminded me of when I bought a 5yr old 'disposed of' ex-cop Vauxhall Omega (£500) in similar fashion 20 years ago here in the UK. Mine was a little battered and bare also...but wow did that thing shift. The engine had been 'Blueprinted', was tuned to perfection and didn't miss a beat! I remember trying it out for performance on a quiet SPECIAL early Sunday morning trip out to a cop-safe 7 mile section of the M5 Motorway nearby me. When I got to the section...I checked around and hit the floor with my boot. I could not believe it when I looked at the clock after what seemed a few seconds! I was doing just over 145mph and still climbing in no time at all! Needless to say, I had some great times in that car. After I let it go.....and by then believing the Vauxhall Omega was the best thing since sliced bread. I later foolishly bought two of them one after the other...believing the first one was just a duffer. How wrong was I???? The Vauxhall Omega produced for the public domain was the biggest, most unreliable, thirstiest and gutless piece of ** you could ever wish to buy!!! I want that one you have there Randy!!!

      It'd make it easier to show him actually working on the cars.
      Part of the problem is that he uses a GoPro, which is super light-weight... And even photographers don't particularly like lugging around a heavy tripod.
      So most likely he'd be putting a super light camera on a super light tripod and then the wind knocks it over... 🤷🏻‍♂️... There are, of course, ways to weight it down. Just more to carry to and fro...

    I say do the primary cat back straight but throw in a lets say flowmaster super 40 or 44 something to even out the tone and cut some of the ear splitting bark. still loud and aggressive but not insane where it kills your ears.

    Keep the exhaust factory and here's why... You're kinda wanting people to think its a real cop car and if they hear a super loud exhaust that will instantly give it away. Also, a super loud car will be more likely to upset neighbors that on the fence about you. Good content!

    I think you should keep the p71 completely stock, and make it into a private security vehicle and add some white, amber lights on the front window visor, some corner strobe lights, grill and rear traffic directional bar, some tints and resell it at some point to some one who works as a private security officer, love these p71.
