Trials of mana Angela Grand Diviner has tons of all element spells and a great special move that uses all elements too This mage here has a melee weapon 💀 feels lacking
Thats what im saying how is no one complaining about how much they reused animation and just changed colors. Like come on man in those games you fight 70 percent of the time and all you get is 3 animations i was bored of playing this game after 5 hours because of exactly that reason, nothing to look forward to whats the point of unlocking later classes if it only changes colors so fucking lazy and boring.
Holy crap these class strikes look insane. BUT. I think they could've made a level 2 class strike for each weapon style. I can see how having one strike per weapon could get monotonous after a long time.
@@LeonardoRodrigues-uj1sm For Mana's sake, Trials remake has 4 whole levels of class strike, even though it had fewer classes. I still feel like the game could use a 200% CP class strike.
@@Sairento-kun Based on what do you say this though? I like the trials remake, but it has its issues as well. I've just gotten all vessels in this one, so it's too early to form any sort of real opinion, but how do you know that trials wins hands down if you haven't played this one?
@@Sairento-kun The demo is definitely meh and I didn't like the combat much at all for the first 10 hours, which is a problem. But it does get much much better when you unlock more abilities and combo options for your weapons. I think it's definitely worth it at full price, if you're okay with a very very slow start combat wise. Early on I was like, is this really all there is? Luckily there is more though!
5 characters, 8 elements including their base class, 3 fighting styles each. It's not as exciting as the last game, gameplay-wise, but at least you can all have all the characters in your party to experiment with to your heart's content.
I mean the characters in Trials of Mana had 4 classes, but their core fighting styles was the same beside spells availables, so Trials had 6 fighting style, Visions in total has 15 fighting styles, and unlike Trials they're all available at all time.
@@nesoukkefka1741 Not counting base, trials had 8 styles and they even had different animations for class strikes. One character had a different animation for each of these 8 styles. Visions uses the same animations so much the greater number seems redundant. One character has only 3 animations for these 15 styles. Also in trials you can reset the class and switch to your choice whenever you want, so they're also available all the time
@@moseslalmuanpuia8988 The items to reset class in Trials are not available until the end game, tough. Characters in Trials had only 1 fighting style, I dunno what you're talking about accross all the class the animation for their attacks was always the same, with only the higher tier of combos unlocking during Class 2 and 3, the class were only different in their spells, passive and Class Strike, Vision has 3 completly different fighting style for each of the characters accross 9 Classes... so no matter how you look at it it's factually more diverse than Trials already. I will definitly agree on the Class Strike however, that's the point where it's definitly a regression, not only each character has only 3 Class Strike, but I don't like the way Class Strike works in this game, having only 1 Gauge for each character, reduce the possibilies, also don't like how all of them completly pause the action when activated, and they are basically all just big AoE, where as in Trials with some timing you could switch character after queuing a Class Strike allowing you to keep on the offensive and even chaining the class strikes of your team, which with the class strike type that could stun ennemy in place was very effective and so satisfying to pull off, I really miss that.
@@nesoukkefka1741I haven't played visions yet so I don't know what you meant when you said style. I used it in synonym with class. By style is it that a character with the same weapon but different element eg, val with the lance between light and fire ?

@Jabberwokee nothing wrong with it I played trials of mana and used Duran a lot with his light path. So I thought paladin would give Val a sword and shield
Was really excited for this. I'll still get it but on sale. a lot a missed opportunities with making each element feel different, Trials was much better. thanks for the showcase thought great video!
Why would they do same attack with just different elements?? Missed opportunity its not turn based where you can do the same animation for whole game. Duh
Eh, I accept that the animations are reused. This game had better graphics, animations, more environments, a lot more character & enemies models. So corners had to be cut somewhere in this non-AAA RPG. Plus Trials CS had to be more faithful so fans wouldn't complain about it. Hence why they are all unique.
I wish Hinna was playable and we that could get 4 players in the party instead of 3. Idk why Hinna as the alm of fire isn't playable. Shouldn't alms also possess powers/abilities based off that element?
Same Class strike with different colors, this has to be the most uninspired thing in the series, even trials of mana, which is a 40 $ remake is much better
I think i'll pass on this one, couldnt even complete the demo, it wasn't very appealing to me. So glad they did trial of mana before this one, with all the different animations. 60 bucks ? Ahaha !!
Same animations but different colors oh god.. that is the laziest thing I ever seen in a modern game even retro games had more variety of moves smh this is what gaming has been reduced to....
