We don’t have Cobra,in the US it’s Kingfisher,or Taj Mahal here.Yes I love spicy food,I have a jar of chili flakes by my cook top.Where I live it’s Bangladeshi takeouts, and your choice is beef, goat,or chicken curries, they tend to be very spicy especially the beef, only one of each home style cooking,2 fish curries, difficult to eat as they are made from small river fish with lots of bones,an though I eat by hand,I still have trouble with the bones.Darren someone suggested you try Indonesian food,I think you would love Beef Randang,so flavorful, and their other dishes are very good too.

Lamb tikka will generally be less tender due to the tandoor high temperature cooking, whereas the curried lamb will have been pre cooked slowly for tenderness. I know I don't have to tell you that 😉

Lovely looking Indian food there DJ. Lookes great all round. Lunchtime or evening, I'm always happy to have spicy food no matter the time of day. I've had phalls and vindaloos for breakfast before from leftovers lol.
I do enjoy Cobra with my curry. I enjoy Kingfisher also but Cobra seems to be the most available in restaurants where i live.
As for Naan breads. I love a Naan, especially Keema. However, in more recent times I've gone for a Paratha instead. Its not too dissimilar to naan but its pan fried in oil rather than baked in a tandoori clay oven. So it's got that fried bread type taste to it. Stuffed Paratha is nice too.
Thanks for sharing the video mate and glad you enjoyed👍

We have the Portuguese to thank for introducing chillies to India in the 16th century (I may be off by 100 years) after they found them in South America. They did the same thing to Thailand in the late 1600''s "look what we found on the other side of the world, give them a whirl."

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G 🎉 And no , not dessert after an Indian meal but I am quite partial to a Benedictine liqueur coffee ☕️ (One of the very few places you can find this Monks liqueur now is at an Indian restaurant)

I feel you have already got a pre conceived opinion on a lot of these places you visit regularly. Watching it back the starter in your own words the lamb was not as tender as you would like..that is a pretty big issue. The main looked okay and the decor is excellent.

My favourite is Chicken Tikka Ceylon. Nice heat and flavour. I find Madras a little bland for me. I occasionally have a Chicken Tikka Vindaloo because of its unique flavour and heat. I normally have a Tikka dish as opposed to plain chicken but Definately NON Tikka if lamb as I find it makes lamb a bit chewy. Normally I find non tikka lamb curry just melts in the mouth. I used to prefer Cobra to Kingfisher as it tasted smoother to me. Nowadays it’s soda and lime 😉. Pistachio Kulfi ice cream is hard smooth and delicious.

Looks absolutely delicious DJ. Your channel doesn’t half give me the desire to get some Indian food. Been marinating some lamb cutlets in tandoori paste and yoghurt for the last 24 hours so that’s on the cards tonight. Hope I enjoy them as much as you enjoyed your Bombay Blast. All the best DJ👍

We can all skip the first 2 mins if it's not our bag, I personally enjoy seeing parts of London you clearly are proud of. Keep up the great content as long as it makes you happy, and we will love to watch! #IsleOfWight

The meat looked so Tender and succulent. Your rice dish looked very well cooked. The Bombay Blast like rather a Challenge. Too Hot for me that would be, i like my Indian food nice and mild. I love a curry that is nice and has a Good Sauce with it. India 3, what an Incredible place to have some Excellent Top Quality India Food and a cool pint or two of Kingfisher Lager. What a Great video this was DJ. Thank you for sharing.

I have to confess to being a chicken tikka massala addict - and every time i visit a new curry spot im torn between enjoying a known favourite but wanting to expand my horizons. I think you are tempting me to slide up the spice scale.
Do i ever have dessert - no chance. After poppadoms, a starter, a main with rice and perhaps a naan im incapable of speaking let alone a dessert DJ. Another venue for the growing bucket list.

Darren, before you cut to the intro drum beats, preceeding the opening music, and said " I've been to India 1..and India 2.......I've just gone and found India 3.....!! " the clearly happy and excited expression on your face was priceless!! You make great TV experience for the viewer, Darren. You are a great showman and a lot of what you convey is through your natural expressions and a lot of the continued interest is in your own magnetic personality... You are yourself and thats what we love about you but im sure you couldve turned your hand to acting and done a more than competent job.
I'm noticing an evolution in your filming style. There seems to be a maturation in your presentation. You seem more thoughtful, and considered and im noticing it as well in your narration.
You engage the viewer and you are an interesting worldy- wise person.
Im with you on the Kingfisher's but then i dont like the owner of Cobra Tony Bliars mate 'Lord Billamory'...

Lovely inside the restaurant and the food looked very tasty....I'd have to go mild or medium hotness!
I don't think the price was too bad for a Lovely Restaurant 🍴 tasty food 🍲 & a drink 🍻

Towels do that because they’ve been intensively microwaved, would never hold heat long once taken out the packet. Biggest complaint for that venue would be playing Lana del rey remixes in an Indian

Well i must tell my Indian next door neighbours that they aren't cooking authentic Indian food because some of their dishes (in fact the majority) are spicy in the extreme , i don't like spicy food and even their non spicy food can be to hot sometimes, the mother says its because of the blend of spices she uses its nothing to do with the chillies. Yet another great video.
