    The weapon you fight with when you are fighting a battle, is what God quickens to you to fight with is the scripture , He shows you that burns on the inside of your spirit that's what a Rhema is ! Wow ! Amen.

    Calvary greetings to you through Jesus Christ. This is the best sermon and teaching I have heard in my life which pertains to Rhema. Thank you Pastor Perry Stone for acknowledging your sources in your teachings. This is so so rare in today's Christianity where Pastors are plagiarists of teachings and play monopoly in propagating Gospel truths. I am male. I am 32. I am sending you this message from Numan local government area of Adamawa state, Nigeria.

    I was part of the Positive Confession/health+wealth movement for many years.I cut my teeth on Kenneth Hagin's teachings.Looking back on it now,I feel I have nothing to show for it.The"fruit"of his ministry was a lot of disappointment,depression,and out and out rejection of the gospel for many people.The miraculous healings/health never came and were never verified and the ones that preached that message,for the most part,wore glasses,wigs,and dentures.The only ones that were getting wealthy/rich were Hagin and his followers in the pulpit.I used to hear Hagin and Copelan carry on conversations with Jesus on stage.I wanted that ability so bad I could taste it, to no avail.I knew that the one on one relationship they seemed to have with the Lord was the key to intimacy with the Lord--therefore it was the most important thing.But Hagin,Copeland,Price,and the others never taught how to hear God's voice like they said they did(??)-a running conversation with Jesus-""The Lord told me-and then I told the Lord"ect....Hagin did put out a book/pamphlet that purported to tell you how to""hear God"--but it didn't come close to what I heard him do on stage--just getting a"check in your spirit"or,as Perry said--a strong confidence inside your spirit--nothing near a conversation.Latter,a professor at Oral Roberts University,wrote a book exposing the fact that Hagin had plagerized/copied much of his work from a teacher/author named E.W.Kenyon,in many places word for word.Kenyon came out of the mind-science field(Christian Science).

    John : 53 - 58 (The Logos) So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh (The Rhema) of the Son of Man and drink His blood (The Covenant), you have no life in yourselves.
    54“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
    55“For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.
    56“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
    57“As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
    58“This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.”God Bless!

    Love you Perry. ❤️ 5 years ago I received a prophetic word that I would "feel the word". After passing through some refining battles I had 3 visitations from Jesus where He stepped into me and since then I have been feeling the word. John 14:23. It's as if every time I read the Word, I can feel Him as the Word. The logos has been alive ever since. Although after 3 years it's started to wane a bit as He prepares me for a fresh anointing. God bless you Perry. Love your teaching!!!

      Fresh? He just got done telling us about Kenneth Hagin as being one of the main sources for spreading the "rhema"doctrine".And Kenneth was later found to have plagerized much of his teachings from E.W.Kenyon,almost word for word-by a professor from Oral Roberts University.Kenyon was also,it seems,connected with mind-science cults.

Besides,who died and made you the gatekeeper for this site? Aren't these people adults who can think and speak for themselves?? Don't shoot the messenger just because you can't defend your positions with scripture,reason,and,calmness.But,i'm sorry to disturb your world.

    Plato , Aristotle taught what a rhema word was. Aristotle taught Alexander the great for 12 yrs till he was 20. He learned what a rhems and word was. A logos word is written on paper a thought, a rhema is something activated, a living rhema. Faith without works is dead. A rhema speaks a special word in time and season to a person. When your spirit gets excited on what hearing it becomes alive. Jesus is the expression of God.

    I really don't understand why the title of this video is not "Acting on..." or "Moving in the Rhema Word", instead of "resting in" which seems contradictory to what Perry was saying. That would tie in better with "walking in the Spirit"-Gal.5:16-25 and maybe explaining or elaborating on the meaning of that, which is always helpful since it can be a rather abstract concept. However, bringing Hagin into it begins to imply a less scriptural implication of word faith theology which more grounded (or scripturally strict) ministries rightly take issue with.

    Jews at that time didn't speak Hebrew; they spoke Aramaic. And the way to understand logos and rhema is to know how they were used. But no one thinks about doing that. A language is the expression of a culture, not just a bunch of roots tied together. That's like trying to understand the word understanding by breaking it apart into under & standing or stand. It doesn't work because that isn't how languages work.

      Even if you see amputees limbs restored . You will still require something else to convince you

    • @berenc7619
      @berenc7619 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Beg to differ. JEWS only allowed the Hebrew language to be spoken amoung.themselves , in their homes , synagogues and the Temple . The Torah and other scrolls of the IT were copied and read in Hebrew. The trials within the Sanhedran were conducted in Hebrew. In public the Jews would speak Aramic., or even Greek.

      Sorry. When the Jews returned from Babylonian exile, they spoke Aramaic because it was the lingua franca. And when Hellenism spread abroad, Greek was used. And Hebrew was, but rarely, and not as much as it used to be before the exile. In the Synagogues, they used the Septuagint (LXX). The Roman soldiers used street Latin because they were from across the provinces.
      So here are the languages used and/or spoken:
      •Classical Latin
      •street Latin
      •Classical Greek
      •Koine Greek
      •Dialects of Aramaic
      •Hebrew, but in Torah and other books of Tanakh

    • @shriggs55

      @@bobharms8787 he did not die so you could be healed"""physically""-that should be obvious by now.--the dying process,or what we call""death"'is a process of deterioration.--but people still die.Many of the preachers who preach physical healing have glasses on,wigs,and even dentures.If they can't get those simple things healed,then how can they heal major diseases? The two leading causes of death is cancer and heart disease.If people could be healed of these diseases by some healing evangelist,than church's would be filled all the time and the general population would be much larger.Do you believe that if Jesus was on earth today he could restore missing limbs? If your answer is yes,then why doesn't he do that through his people? A person can""confess their faults"all day long til their blue in the face--but there are conditions(amputees?)that will never be healed--even in Church of God or Pentecostal church's.Anyhow,according to the Book of Hebrews,Jesus's once for all time sacrifice was sufficient to atone for all sin(faults)for all time-past,present,and,future.

      @@berenc7619 That's simply not true! You don't know me! Faith means taking somebodies word for something.So when I read in the Bible that believers can do the same miracles that Jesus did,and even greater--and when i see where Jesus says that not only is nothing impossible for God,but that nothing is impossible for believers--and-when i see that God loves the world and he's not willing that anyone should perish--than i want to believe that--but,as of now--all the evidence points in the other direction.

    • @shriggs55
      @shriggs55 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@berenc7619 I'm not looking for reason to doubt God--quite the opposite! It's time that Christians put action to what they say they believe,and quit expecting unbelievers to believe in miraculous events written down 2,000 years ago--and then-when they want evidence,instead of giving them the evidence,you mock them and tell them their looking for reasons to doubt God.Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence--that's the way rational people see it-so don't mock them! You better wake up before it's too late.
