My first pba show was Wichita, KS. I've been bowling again now for 3 years and gotta say channels like this are what keep me going. I love the competitive atmosphere and the ability to watch and learn. Big shout out to Ryan, Chris, darren, packy, Andrew and many others who not only bowl to compete but record to give us the inside perspective. It's appreciated.
Tough set, but you’ll break past this noise Ryan. Appreciate the commentary throughout Chris
Gotta be an edge having a mentor/dad that helps keep you poised at a young age. I love seeing the growth, calm demeanor, and professionalism. I look forward to seeing you on TV my man. Keep up the great work.
He will get hall of famer status too, I can feel it!
Ryan also bowled in a major college program where he has always had teammates and coaches to lean on. When times get tough, there are guys to remind you to slow down, to follow through, to take a deep breath, or to suggest a ball change, etc. Having HoF Dad there is surely a help. But in the end it's just you, the lane, the ball in your hand, and how much you can execute. I think that before long, Ryan will have things figured out and we will start seeing him in the TV stepladders regularly.
Hey Ryan! I am a cinematographer and I’ve been following your journey for a while. The PBA Owen’s Illinois Classic is next week and it’s close to where I live. I’d be willing to drive and stay out there for a week and vlog for you. Cinematic style. No cost to you at all. If you like the work I produce from the tournament we can talk about future events and things like that. But I’d like to become your videographer. I know this is a long shot but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
I mean to have Chris Barnes as his cameraman is already pretty cool 😂😂 even cooler because it’s his dad lol
@@UpNorthBowling Lol I agree, I’d just be a temporary stand in from time to time. Cant replace one of the G.O.A.T.’s
@@slimmm815I hope Chris lets you step in. Chris is great, but the best needs the best.
You’re not going to reach him in a comment section man.
@@slimmm815 let me see if I can get his personal email for you. I got a couple friends who bowl regularly with his dad in Plano.
Ryan - we are all here to support you. You know better than anyone that this tournament is a marathon and not a sprint. You have a lot of great ability and bowling also in the genetic code. Learn to control and temper the speed and decrease it a little as you mature as a bowler and you will have a Green Jacket in no time! The problem with going too fast at the open is the dreaded splits. I know your Dad has his Green Jacket. A big shoutout to Poppa Chris for holding your camera on this one! We are proud BowlTV subscribers and it is exciting seeing all the action.
How cool it must feel for Chris to watch his son be a pro. I like watching you guys and the Bohn family bowl.
🔥Editing and music choice for this vlog.
I thought the music was annoying especially since I had to put the volume up to hear the commentary.
Good work RB. Thanks for sharing. I love the CB camera man
That Justin Knowles guy is pretty cool…great to see him with some guys from Texas.
good stuff ryan doing good so far
This is the Duo collaboration that I want and love the most ❤
Hang in there man! You got this! TV shows in your near future!
Ryan, you remind me so much of your Dad with your bowling style! I see a great future ahead.
2:02 who spared that up on the right? 😂
wes
Look up some Wes Malott highlights… he’s a beast on the lanes
absolute grinddd
Hung So Small…poor guy 😂
Chris Barnes has known Westly Lowe for years, so he can get away with this joke =)
Your made for this bro. Keep trucking
It was awesome meeting you and your dad at the pro-am! Good luck to you both!!!
I was the one in the donut Jersey btw 😂
I have never bowled on this type of conditions. But judging from what Ryan's balls were doing, I suspect I might average around 150, lol. These lanes were Brutal!
I need the names of the songs used! Awesome editing on this one!
Go get it Barnzy! I met you at the bowl with the pros event and was looking forward to your vlog of the event. Wish i got to bowl with you at the event though :( Keep up the good bowling!
Phaze II the goat
Hung So Small😂
Hung So Small caught me off guard
Hung-so-small lol 😂😂
The US Open qualifying rounds... yay bowling!
Keep grinding RB
LETS GO BARNZY!!!
What's the name of the song in the intro?
Great finish Ryan.
Ryan is gonna be great!
Recording on phone? Clean lense to eliminate halos/soft focus.
U can see Ryan and Darren frustration
I dont suggest you guys to wipe the camera lens with the shammy 🤣
2:02 did no one see him pick up the Greek church on the right??😮
Not a Greek church that’s the 4,7- 3,6,10. Greek church would be the 4,7,- 6,9,10.
Hung so small 😭😭🤣
Go Ryan
hey ryan im a 2 hander and i really admire your swing; i’ve tried to take certain things you do and try them myself. do you have any tips for staying more under the ball during release? thanks and good luck for the rest of the week 🙏
Try cupping your wrist during your set up. That helped me immediately
I recommend keeping the weight of the ball on your thumb pointer side of your hand and trying to keep it there throughout your release
@@KPKPlaysGamesi do. i’m able to get my wrist cupped on my backswing pretty easily. i just notice that when i release, my hand tends to gravitate towards the right side of the ball, and i feel like im sacrificing a lot of power and control by doing this.
@@BarnzyBowlingwill do 🫡
@@BarnzyBowling That is a great tip!! Thank you!
Good job dude. keep ya mind right...
Should’ve recorded your dad bowling and posted it, That would’ve been good to watch
i think all the pattern will benefit player with lower rev except for the 52 feet pattern
It's not over till the final ball on the last day of qualifying. So just keep giving ti your best.
Ft. JUSTIN KNOWLES!!!
Go get that green Jacket I would love to see all 3 of you make the show
2:07 anyone else see that spare on lane 45 lol
When ever I see a two handed bowler I always think they will get a 300 game
Try wiping off your camera lens-that might be why the video looks a little blurry
Anyone else catch that spare on lane 45 at 2:01?
Hi Ryan - I am a bit surprised why you didn’t consider using either
1)LIGHTNING BLACKOUT
or
2)HY ROAD ( HYBRID )
Please comment why - Thanks
no one throws those. thanks.
Help me out here.
Is there any reason why, when things were UGLY, that nobody thought to pick up a (lightly) sanded plastic ball and throw a heater at the head pin from the right corner? At least that would keep the pocket in play and about guarantee a 200-220 each game. Isn't that better than STRUGGLING for 170-180??
not staying down with shots like seen him do before
Nasty lane conditions... at least most everyone struggled too, so hang in there, there's a long way to go. I'm feeling the strike machine will return tomorrow! Good luck
🤝👍👍👍
Yo Ryan, my name is Eduardo and I run this TH-cam Ed Fluential Sports where I talk about many different sports and bowling is one of them. I have a goal of interviewing at least 3 athletes this year. Would you be down to do an interview?
