Michel its really great to see the lesson. It explains the rotation so beautifully that beginners will learn it easily. All teachers speak about rotating the hip in downswing and its so difficult to do, but Your Explanation of rotating the sternum is excellent and easy to repeat every time I swing the club. Thanks a ton for search and educating video
Michael thanks ever so much, have been watching your impressive videos and patience with your students, went to golf range yesterday to try out your lessons my self.I was amazed at the results even with the driver I had a nice little fade and the balls would drop on top of each other.my back pain was so much lessened with this swing technique. you are a genius, much love from northern Ireland.
Thank you so much! I am a total beginner and had such trouble trying to learn how to swing. Your video and the tips shown taught me how in minutes! Thanks again!
Wow, this is some great stuff but then you already know that Michael. Can't wait to get out and try some of this info for myself. I'm 75 going on 76. This seems pretty body friendly and powerful without strain. Will comment again when I get a chance to get out.
Hi Michael. I went out and focused on turning my spine rather than my hips. It is so much easier to turn through the ball. Great advice. I wish you were teaching in the Boston area.
Michael. I look forward to tonight’s entertainment of watching you teach. I hope the osmosis theory is active and working. The more you watch the more that may sink in.
He is worried about how his right arm works because his hockey hand positioning betrays him as lead arm dominant. This will be an interesting challenge, keep up the good work!
I have played for many years, and had a layoff. I lost my swing and after several lessons I am in the same place. Sometimes all it takes is a difference concept.
HI Mike why don’t you make a Velcro training aid so that it keeps your elbow tucked in as a reminder? One around the waist and a arm band to compliment the action.Love your trading methods
My interpretation of everything I learned in my golf studies. I looked for what was the same in all great swings instead of focusing on what was different. It’s simple once you discover what’s really matters and it’s not what is taught. In lessons I simply coerce the student into reaching the positions of what matters.
What weight is that roll of film on the handle? I have never seen any pro teach with something as simple as that in the UK and would Ike to try it. There are commercially available tools for teaching the snap but in the £150 range. A roll of cling film for £2 sounds better..
I like the warmup drill with the rotating body and loose arms. But this guys arms are not loose when he does it. His elbows are locked in. Michael's are loose.
It’s hard for people taught in lessons there whole life....it takes breaking the habits. I am also checking what issues a person has so I can diagnose how to help them when they perform the exercises.
Michael... when you do the cellophane drill you always demo it at about 25% speed. I can do it successfully like that. At full real speed I cannot get the late release. Is it possible or are we just practicing it slowly?
Michael, I came across your video. Many Questions. What starts the downswing? Your chest turning back towards the ball. I have never seen this taught like this. Have you ever put someone on trackman to see what their ball speed is with a driver and can you increase speed. I am not sure if you can generate power with theory. The game has become a power game.
I think if you look at some pro swings on TH-cam, you will see them start the swing with the shoulders, the arms just go along for the ride until that flip point.
@@wordofmo I don't think that Michael Broderick in ponte cedar is the same. And by the way I did do a search with Google. I think he lives in the Chicago area.
Michael very often you say you are very fast. What are your speeds driver swing speed and length would be very fun to see you with a driver and a trackman
I don't really know. I never met him or studied him but I suspect so. The difference is I teach speed and add distance as well. 30 to 40 yards per student.
Watched this tape today5/102020 and it made even more sense today than last year..I recommend rewatching all tapes...you cover so many basic things that most all of us over 10 handicap need to work on...I believe this is the first of very many lessons of yours that I watched..and like great masterpieces gets better&better😎

Ingrained traditional style - broken and made better - its great to watch these students achieve results beyond their expectation - great video. 👍👍

James, this is the best video I have seen to get the arms working as they should to get the swing just right. Where are you located?? 😀
Michael you're a great teacher ! The sound is OK now.

First like! Michael do you give online lessons? Thanks
Michael do you swing with heavy arms?
Yes

Very possible.....I can do full tilt no problem. It takes patience at top.....

Let’s be clear. I teach speed. The straight is a bonus. In the lessons ball speed is measured. Everyone gains.

Siran wrap tube out of the box.
I wish he would move the coffee cup!
Combo of Malaska and C motion but much better.

Students see it up close and personal. When I demo I immediately get their attention. You see it’s an advantage in teaching.
I don’t get floppy arms or the coffee cup.
Heavy arms. Coffee bad habit.
