Lovely and inspiring. Sometimes when I do Glass on Glass mosaics the individual pieces end up cracking months after they are put into place... any logic to how to keep them from doing that? Appreciated greatly,
My guess would start with your adhesive. If your adhesive doesn't have "flex" after curing, it may contract and expand between panes with temperature changes. Next, I would want to make sure you are adhering to actual glass and not plexiglass, which could potentially flex. And if those boxes are all checked, I am not sure, but there is a limit to the size of pieces you can effectively use in GOG mosaic, so I wonder if some of your pieces are simply too large, and the stress coming from each side is causing fractures?
