I love my Patagonia Yulex Wetsuit. It’s been amazing while surfing cold Lima (Peru) waters. Keeps me so warm, I can stay in the water for hours! So exciting to have designed for Patagonia (2003-2008) for the surf category. Patagonia paid for me to learn to surf at a surf camp and I was hooked. Had to be authentic and do the sport I designed for. I’ve been an ocean woman all my life. To be in the ocean surfing for hours has been the most amazing and fun experience in the water. I’ll have to check out the new model!
I switched to patagonia last year and love my steamers, warm, comfortable and having wetties last more then one season is great for my bank balance 🤙yewww
I would love to buy a neoprene-free wetsuit however why is there only a black version? A little color would be great:) Or is black the only possible color due to the material?

We make one style of suit with the same material package to streamline our footprint and insure the most efficient use of resources to fulfill our business needs. However, we'd be happy to pass your wishes to see more color in the line over to our Design Team.
Our wetsuits are designed specifically for surfing. At diving depths surf wetsuits (which are designed primarily for flexibility) will compress and become ineffective at providing the warmth that a diving wetsuit will. Diving wetsuits are made of a stiffer material that resists compression.
