Tired of appointment cancellations? Discover the #1 appointment setting technique to reduce patient cancellations.
There is nothing more annoying than a patient who books an appointment with you and doesn't show up, or cancels with you at the last minute.
    Trust me, I get it.
Which is why I'm going to share with you this one technique you must begin using right now, today, to reduce patient cancellations or no-shows. And best of all… it's so simple to do.
It uses the most powerful tool for avoiding appointment cancellations: human to human connection.
The key to effective appointment setting is to establish real rapport with the patient. When someone books an appointment with you, they probably receive some sort of automatic booking confirmation. But here’s what you should do in addition to that.
Simply take out your phone and text your patient, asking if it’s them. When they say “yes” and ask who’s texting them, send a quick video message explaining how excited you are about the upcoming appointment.
With this personalized video, it is HIGHLY unlikely that your patient will fail to show up. After all, they now know you. Establishing a degree of familiarity will create a connection that will greatly reduce no-shows.
It’s easy to ignore an automatic message from a computer. But with the added human element, appointment cancellations will decrease dramatically.
This one simple strategy will completely transform the way you do appointment setting. Use it, and your no-shows will quickly disappear.

I dunno, you're videos are usually quite good but I think this method comes across as desperate at best and borderline creepy at worst. As a doctor I do not want to come across as a marketer to my patients. It would compromise my position as a doctor and would look very unprofessional. Not a good look. Sorry, you usually hit the nail on the head but this is awful advice.

You’re entitled to your opinion. It’s all good.

@MegaMrMuscleman, this is great advice and strategy, for a friendly doctor.
Seems like you care more about your "position" than your customers!
