I visited an Island in Alaska thats always been a dream of mine to visit, and once I got there I immediately realized what you said at the end. "Why hurry to check things off the bucket list, just enjoy the moment." I ended up not seeing half the places/things I wanted to see during my visit, but what I did see I thoroughly enjoyed and will remember forever and in great detail.

Possibly will do my own week long trip to new Caledonia. Great to see camping looks easy. Tossing up between hitchhiking or car rental. Wait and see
That will be amazing for sure!! Car rental is more reliable and safe in New Caledonia but we're keen to here how your adventure plays out 🙌
@@theupshotproject my only real concern would be lack of traffic in rural areas, and not being able to see places off the main highway. Sure thing ✌️
@@therationalcollection2999 Well when we were there, hitch hiking was a big no go as we had heard of instances that put had tourists in serious danger and harms way. So yeah, renting a car is a better option we found. Have fun and be safe 🙏

You do realize that's a highly venomous sea krait at 10:30, right?? They're usually not agressive, but it could have ended a whole lot worse for you than you think!
We really appreciate your concern regarding the beautiful animal. We went into the water knowing full well these animals were in the area and what they were capable of. Hayden has swum with them before and we wanted to capture one on film. Again, truly appreciate your message in our well being but we want to assure you it was as close to being planned as you could get with a wild encounter 😊

Partner and I have been thinking of visiting New Caledonia having heard it's a wonderful experience. May I congratulate you for your 16min video which starred you both blocking views of the scenery and relentlessly babbling tourist brochure cliches? And well done... you describe the simplicity of living and easy going locals without bothering to show them at all. btw, isn't the travel experience in someone else's country about the people who live there?
