each one of those cars are holding around 100 tons of coal, and there was about 136 cars. (excuse me if i counted wrong) so that one train is carrying 13,600 tons of coal or 27,200,000 pounds of coal, or 123377 kgs of coal. insane how powerful those trains are.
im a conductor for bnsf and a average train has about 135 cars of coal cars and fully loaded each car weighs 144 tons our trains oftenly weigh well over 19000 tons in total
There are silver boxes, which are the housings for all of the signaling detection, circuitry, and other electronics. As well as heaters on and near the track, including the propane tank to keep snow/ice from building on the switch off the main track.

Nice video
what's the tonnage of the fully loaded train?
17-19000 tons depends on how many cars.
What a long train!
Very nice
Is there some kind of car counter shown in the shadow at the bottom of the screen near the full load of coal cats?

These aren't coal cars. They're food for electric vehicles.
