記得二十幾年前我和家人去英國玩，我們在路邊一個電話亭內打電話，點知有幾個約8-10歲的白人細路無端端圍住電話亭,對住我地笑，起初以為他們想問我地嘢，但跟住他們不停望住我地笑，而且用手不停拍打電話亭，起初因為不明他們做什麼，自己不懂反應，後來他們持續拍左十多秒後，我終於明白原來他們想笑下玩下我們，果刻真係有一種被人歧視，被人羞辱的感覺，真係勁唔開心。

我有個書友似李小龍，佢著唐裝出街，鬼仔投以敬畏眼神。所有被玩的人通常外型文弱，餂底。為在外國未來，下一代一定要健身！
歧視其實不分種，白人都會被歧視，唔需要咁玻璃心，我鄰居意大利人佢老婆英國人，佢都比班白人細佬叫佢go back to your country. 我去西班牙旅行識到兩個係西班牙住既英國人，佢話佢當初搬去西班牙既時候，試過入一間酒吧，一知佢哋唔係西班牙人，立即熄電視熄音樂，個個好唔友善望住佢哋，罷明唔妥佢哋係英國人。英國人去到外國都會比歧視，佢哋心知唔係所有人都welcome 佢哋，但都繼續住左係西班牙有十年。如果無攻擊性，講兩句咪當聽唔明囉，佢哋就會無左興致。

講真, 好耐以前喺香港讀Band 1 英文小學, 喺學校𥚃面就算同同學傾偈都要完全用英文. 如果D 修女同老師聽到你講廣東話, 你就會被罰-罰企同罰作文(英文). 80年代後, 已經無呢種情況, 但英文水準亦相對下降.
我係香港都試過畀黑人歧視，我揸巴士嗰陣時畀個黑人話我英文差，話我點解唔識英文，跟住佢就指住個路牌話點解度度都係英文，但你唔識講，跟住佢就發曬脾氣，我當時好驚，唔明白點解佢哋去人哋地方唔識尊重當地人

As the world turns , such things happening all over between all races and colors ,and among the same race and same color . Only from a few people some of the time . Avoid to meet such people again if possible and ignore what they say . Be friendly with those respects and nice to us . 🙂 . I am from an American family of Italian-Cantonese descents . Been in 7 different countries and lived in 3 including 11 and a half years in HongKong during the late 50's into the 60's . Such things are getting less these days in USA but still exists. Much of the former racists are gradually dying out , but , a new type of discrimination is happening among the new immigrants of different race and color . Only a few just don't like the other side . Generally speaking people getting along OK here . Here at this northern Midwest ,USA, many of the Asians , including Cantonese from HK and particularly the ToiShanese are generally being looked at as wealthy ones . One of the reasons is owning business or holding professional careers in the medical field , architects, engineerings . To be into their world without much of the said problems , one need to work , talk and do the ways the locals do at work and out there . Those who were born here has no such problems because they are already just like the locals and not like the new comers who came here with other cultures and not fluent with the local language. 😎 ☕️🍰 🍛🍚🥢 🍨 🐈

I have been living in the UK for 33 years and I have no problem with racism with British but people from Hong Kong call me 馬來妹. I am originally from Malaysia but why call us 馬來妹 and people from China mainland 大陸妹 and 大陸仔？ you criticise our Malaysian fruit Durian as cat poo? To me, it doesn’t matter where you are from or where you live, racism is always there but I don’t name people and call people name, everyone is equal, we should respect each other no matter where they are from and what race they are. Now you are in the UK, you feel the racism but what about other races that you used to look down when you were in HK? Think about that.

I can think of one incident happened over 30 years ago in a Midwest city of usa. My daughter was about 10 at the time. We're in a shoe store parking lot waiting for the store to open. Then another vehicle pulled up beside us looked to be a mother with 2 boys at 9 or 10 years old in the back seat. A few minutes later the boys started laughing and pulling the back corners of their eyes and start mimicking the sound of Chinese . I doubt that they knew the difference Chinese or Japanese. This went on a few minutes and the mother just sat there and laughed along with them. By this time I was fuming at their behavior. I was determined that I was not going to let them get away with that. So I got out of my vehicle and walked up to their opened window and told the boys they're rude for behaving that way. I scolded the mother that she should be ashamed and ignorant to condone such behavior. I hope I have shown my daughter to stand up for herself and be proud of her heritage and who she is. I have never regretted what I did 30 years ago. It felt really good that I confronted those ignorant people.

Similar case happened in my old company where a French colleague pulling his eyes apart and laughed at my Hong Kong female colleague, calling her “splitto”. The lady cried! We then scolded him being too rude. He was not handsome anyway!
有次喺曼城南部所謂高級白人社區，喺街上突然有兩個中童衝埋嚟，當時下午成條街都無乜人，得我同先生喺街上。起初以為佢哋想搶手機，點知埋嚟緊貼住我後面喺度講青青青，可能佢哋以為我係細路😅佢哋五呎零咁上下，即係同我差唔多高，唔知係幾多歲。咁我咪停埋一邊等佢哋行咗先。之後，高少少冇講嘢嗰個就用手搭住另一個行快啲，佢擰轉面望返我哋，我就用好凌厲嘅眼神啤住佢哋，等佢哋行遠咗我哋先至繼續行。感覺上高嗰個係知道矮嗰個想點，所以就由對面街追過嚟撳住佢。因為佢係貼住我後面驚我聽唔到咁，所以我就停喺度等佢行先。其實係咪白人為主社區先至係咁？因為我曾經去過另一個傳說係貧民社區，反而冇事，啲細路仲同我Hi-Five，真係估佢哋唔到😂同埋市中心啲細路都OK嘅，唔算有禮貌，但都唔會冒犯你。嗰啲地產中介好鍾意介紹香港人買嗰區啲屋，只係因為夠貴，我去過兩次都唔覺得嗰度有幾好😅
早幾年前，香港有些人對內地來香港的中國人歧視 的感受也可能是和現在在英國受外國人歧視的感受一樣。有時受自己不同地區的同國人歧視更各反感。
其實我五十年前從香港來英國時，常也有英國人說Ching Chong, Ching Chong 及拉起眼邊假裝中國人。當時只是一笑置之，不會上心。

我住在英國東南部很少見到這個情況。。居在在英國一定要懂得說英語和識英國人的禮貌和風族習慣。
已經第三次聽過陌生本地人問香港人Do you eat dogs? 真的還拖確是要小心啊！我也試過去報名參加Line Dance, 點知個本地人教練耍我，又話要英文好，又話要有經驗才收學生。我未開口佢已經咁講，line dance 係人都參加得，根本不需要經驗；我睇佢全班都係阿婆，可能驚我格格不入掛😂

So many BNOs coming here and they are doing what they used to say about the mainland Chinese doing to HK. They have occupied so much of our spaces, using our resources and behaving poorly in public. I have lived here in London for 20 years I have not once felt discriminated because I tried my best to blend in and respect and love my country and its people. However, the feelings of the locals have changed due to the facts that so many of those BNOs have arrived.

For those who chose to live in the UK should get used to these incidents. The local culture won't change because we get uptight about it. The lack of discipline to children from loose parenting is to blame and it's partially the government's fault.
I used to commute to London for work every morning over 20 years ago. When the train pulled up at the stop, school kids got off but they left the whole carriage absolutely reeked of cigarettes and weed. Police were informed but to no avail. These kids are now parents themselves and what sort of role models they are to their own children?!

Here in USA , chicken meat is divided into either dark-meat or white-meat . Not a term of discrimination. By the way , hot-dog is quite often called as Dogs instead . 🙂

We were minding our own business walking along the street and then suddenly a local man holding a can of beer comes right up to me and started to call me yellow c**t and all sorts following us, at the time I was so upset we got to a shopping centre and he left. Afterward a few hours later we leave the shopping centre and I see police presence in the entrance and exits this shows me this isn’t a nice area honestly this has put me off visiting Manchester again and I have never been back since

what are you talking about, i've been living in uk for the past 30 years, i've never felt any different then being part of british, 21 century, multi-culture, even in the hospital where i work, we all came from different countries an we do not tolerate racism
其實正如太太說，平的人可以少理。學好英文的話就可以反問他們問你們的問題。E.g. why cannot we speak Cantonese dealing break time? Have we broken any school rules? Where in the school policy states that we, as friends cannot communicate in Cantonese when we have private chats?
很同情你們的不快。其實歧視是很少的。我住了這裏多年，絕少見到。會歧視的人是没有見識及知識的人，可以不理。努力❤
