2006 Porsche Carrera GT
Officially unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, the Carrera GT is a road-going supersports car developed from the Porsche 911 GT1 98-spec racing car with carbon tub. The car is based on the Porsche 911 GT1 98 spec racing car with carbon tabs.
The full carbon body dimensions are.
4610mm in length, 1920mm in width, 1160mm in height
and a wheelbase of 2730mm, making for a very low, wide silhouette that's pretty cool!
The vehicle weight in the manufacturer's catalog value is 1380 kg.
The power unit mounted on the midship is a natural aspiration engine with a dry sump lubrication system developed as a racing engine, and the V10 DOHC engine with a bank angle of 68 degrees delivers 612ps at 8000rpm from a displacement of 5733cc. The maximum torque is 590 Nm at 8000 rpm.

The incredibly fast response from low speeds to the rev limit requires careful control of the gas pedal even with wide tires.
Due to the racing engine characteristics, it is strictly forbidden to turn off the traction control.
The gearbox is a 6-speed manual transmission, made of carbon ceramic material similar to a racing clutch with a high crimp rate, and the difficulty of operating the clutch pedal can be described as a racing car itself, and to start the car without using the half clutch and without stalling it, you need to get the hang of it. The rear wing appears to be the most aerodynamic part of the car, but the Carrera GT's aerodynamics are said to generate 400 kg of downforce at 330 km/h because the lack of regulatory restrictions allowed for more freedom in designing the car than a race car.
A very pleasant surprise is the adoption of a targa top that allows the driver to enjoy the open-air environment.

lot of people don’t realize Carrera gt that killed walker was using original balding tires from 2006, which is ridiculous considering how fast this thing is.
