      worrying takes root in the survival instinct, the more you worry the less chances of lethal surprises, that work in the animal world. the human world is more nuanced.
      the point is not to not worry but to worry only when it is appropriate, it is inapropriate to worry for things you cannot change, only worry for things that you can change and do it in good measures.

      It does, but not in a helpful way. Unless you convert "worrying" into doing what you can to make positive changes, anxiety about the future uses time and energy you could better use elsewhere.
