Hey any myth you spend ten hours on seems worthy enough to be its own episode. BTW, engaging the ladder climb requires momentum. You have to be moving into the ladder to engage the climb. Because freefall in BF has no fall control, you eventually reach a lateral movement speed lower than the minimum threshhold to engage the ladder climb. While technically possible to do from a lower altitude, the fall would be survivable otherwise / you are likely to be killed by the crashing plane.
PunisherSpirit here’s a better one can you actually play a game of conquest or operations without having 60% of people be snipers playing 4 miles away from the objective and fucking up the game.

Psssssst..... selecting the bombs on a ground support attack plane and right clicking in third person to get a downward peephole view might've saved you a lot of time and effort here DTH
Tobe fair, having 6 rifles with varying muzzle velocities, throwing in a k bullet that's sparingly used, also having a different travel speed is counter intuitive, for the games sake.
The thing about K bullets in the game, 8x57mm Mauser round. So if the rifle is not an 8x57mm bullet then we should not be able to use the K-bullet. I don't know if the bullet was same weight or heavier or lighter then the original round. That would make all the difference in the trajectory.
New big myth? You can make ricochets go in circles. The first ricochet will be led to another vehicle and it will ricochet from that vehicle until it makes a circle. Would there be enough vehicles?
Anyone else absolutely love the skydiving animation? Everything about makes you feel like a badass, especially how you're just falling through the sky super fast
Should've used the bomber plane to line yourself up by using the target sights. If you can bomb the ladder using the correct sight, you can aim yourself there since when you leave the plane you become a projectile like the bombs. Would've saved yourself time and sanity
Both are easily done if it weren't possible we would have never seen stungravy's jet-swap clip (granted that was BF3, but the mechanics are probably the same)

Here's some I could come up with. myth; player characters fall at the same rate in free fall then a stick of dynamite or limpet charge. Myth; a Tank falls at the same rate as the dynamite or the limpet charge, as does the horse, the plane however will not fall at the same rate of speed Myth; there is no acceleration "due to gravity",in battlefield 1, only a constant velocity.

You can actually do a vault/jump animation onto a ladder. I do it all the time on Suez when I need to cross 2 buildings and I'm on the roof. The skydive probably doesn't work because its a different animation which is also a lot faster.
You should have had 1 person standing at the bottom of the ladder, because apparently you can land on another player. So if 1 person stands at the bottom, you can land on them and catch the ladder.
I had a different glitch happen on a latter once. After I jumped off it, I noticed that my gun and arms were not visible but I could still shoot. The other thing was when I tried to vault over something it would instead lag a bit, then for some reason my body would detach itself and be in the climbing position on the thing I tried vaulting over. It as fun until I got killed.
I use a parachute to get onto ladders all the time but I've never seen someone free fall onto one, I have done something epicly badass though that might kind of be similar to this, my friend was flying a bomber at low altitude, I spawn on him he yells "JUMP JUMP JUMP" I jump and I landed at the foot of a ladder with almost no health left, (I thought I landed on the ladder because I instantly started climbing when I landed) I climbed it and there was a sniper up there so I unload into him then 3 of his buddies came up the ladder, I stabbed 1 in the spine shot another in the head and me and the last guy killed each other then my friend comes up to me with a vial of undeath and revives me. That was a good game
