The amount of content creators I've seen have to explain that the tubes that they get are just from the same manufacturer and they're not copying is jarring. Even if the theme is completely different, like in this case, people will rush to accuse the creator of copying. It's just super unhealthy.

Not realizing that smaller businesses don't have the funds to create whole new molds to just make packaging for a product that they'll maybe sell if they're lucky 20 to 30 units in a month. It's why interaction with their videos is so important because it puts their brand out there to get it sold. It puts it in front of more eyes. Maybe eventually their business will grow into a point where they can make their own molds. But until then they have to use mold sets that already exist on the market. And it doesn't help that some molds have multiple copies out there and multiple companies sell the same exact packaging. And there's some businesses that probably just have the same manufacturer who's making the component. There's just so many factors that people just don't look at

People are talking about small businesses but honestly even big businesses have similar packaging think about how mini makeup brands release release eyeshadow palettes in rectangular black plastic packaging with rows of square pans in the individual shades
I don't see big companies getting backlash for doing this exact same thing. Burt's Bees and Chapstick use the same shaped tube, just with different colors, are they copying? Is Pepsi copying Coca-Cola because they use the same shaped aluminum cans? If it's no to those, then using the same basic lip gloss jar is also not copying.

Makeup tubes DO NOT belong to one specific brand UNLESS that brand has the copyright for the tube design (which almost never happens since it’s expensive). These tubes are NOT under any sort or copyright so anyone is free to use them.
As a creative person I also got told by my sister many times that I’m copying a specific artist that I didn’t even watch I knew her from years ago but in the present moment I never watched even one of her videos 😂❤It was very annoying because I was doing things I loved doing

I watched a simply nailogical video and she said they already had a batch of ready made nail polish vials that they could've taken that other creators also use (they're just generic bottles for nail polish) OR they could pay extra for their own special made bottle. Basically a lot of creators choose the first option to save money and time when making a product, they pick the ready made bottles to get their product out faster and because the bottle might be the type they like the look of, just so happens it's probably commonly made/manufactured bottle so other artists/creators are most likely gonna have the same bottles.
